Hi! I was waiting for this thread this morning as I need accountability as well. I was on WW in the past and lost 20lbs. Once I went off, I gained it back and then some. At my highest I topped out at 172. I am hoping to drop 30lbs pre-wedding and I have a year to do it. I am also hoping to do it in a way that I can maintain so I can keep the weight off after the wedding. I graduated high school at around 138lbs. Don’t think that’s maintainable for me, but I’d love to just stay somewhere in the 140s if I can.

I’ve been going it on my own so far adn doing pretty well. I lost another 2lbs this week and am now down to 166.8. Slow and steady!

I start wedding dress shopping on Oct and would love to be into the 150s by that time.

My goals for the week are to eat healthy and light since I have events every night after work and to keep my alcohol consuption to a minimum. I am also hoping to get a bike ride in this weekend in Maine in between all the wedding planning madness.

I look forward to supporting and helping to cheer everyone else on.

Hi bees!! I just joined WW this morning, so I really don’t have anything to add about whether I gained or lost. I have about 110-120lbs I would like to lose before my November 12, 2001 wedding. I would like to lose 50-70lbs before our engagement pictures in April or May and then the rest of the weight by the wedding. Those are my goals I set for myself, so I am putting the accountability on myself by doing this thread every Friday with the rest of you! =)

My FH and I just joined a gym this past Monday and are going 4x a week. Mon & Thurs we do arms, shoulders, back and sides. Tues & Friday we do legs, abs and cardio. Then on Saturdays, I will walk/jog on the treadmill at home. Doing this combined with WW, I hope to reach my goals if not exceed them!

My goals for this week; Stick to WW as best I can (I heard the first week is hard because you have to get use to the points.) Workout 5x a week (4 at the gym, 1 at home).

Good luck, bees!! =) I look forward to meeting you all and supporting each other!

@Mrs. Meowerson: Trying to stick to generally healthy eating. I have been diagnosed with acid reflux, pre-barret’s esophogus, and a mild hiatal hernia so I’m trying to stick to a low acid/low fat diet for health reasons.

When my doctor gave me the list of “bad food” for reflux it was like she handed my a list of my favorite foods. I’m not supposed to eat any (or very little) of the following:

soda (haven’t had soda since january, usded to have at least one diet coke a day)

coffee (limit to 1 cup per day)

chocolate

alcohol

fried food

high fat food

fruit (except melon & bananas)

tomatoes

I’m also not supposed to eat a lot late at night, or eat too much at any one time. So just following those rules is helping.

Also FI and I are trying to cook at home more rather than going out/ordering take out. This ususally means we eat both healthier and smaller portions.

Hi Bees! Yay, I am so glad this thread is starting!! I have not joined WW yet, I plan on doing that this weekend or early next week. However, I am really familiar with the points system because I did it once before with my mom, so I am going to start counting my points today!

I have gained about 40 pounds within a year, which has been life changing for me. I’m not even really sure how it happened, to be honest with you.  I have always been a healthy person, but my health has gone way downhill since I gained this weight, plus I feel tired and lethargic all the time. Working out is a challenge for me because of that, and because I am a full time employee, part time student, and a mom! Now I’ve got to fit exercise into the mix!

I currently weigh about 175 (forgot to weigh myself this morning so I’m not sure of the exact number.) I would like to lose all 40 lbs that I have gained, and get back to the 130-135 zone.

My goal for the next week is to work out 3-4 times for at least 30 minutes, and keep track of my points each day.

I am looking forward to feeling healthy again, and gaining back the confidence I’ve lost! So glad I have a support system here!! Good luck everyone!

@Mrs. Meowerson: THANKS! My FH is really big into the gym (he once trained to be a body builder) and his major in college was kinesiology which is the study of the movement of the body.. anddd, he use to be a personal trainer. So, he keeps me accountable for my workout schedule since we go together, lol. Thank goodness for that!

Also, Ms. Meowerson.. I hope you get to where you feel comfortable with your body soon. You totally deserve that proposal and wedding you dream of!! You can totally do it!

@Mrs. Meowerson: Actually I don’t really have cheese either… unless it’s low fat, tofu cheese or feta. 🙁 I dont’ stick to it 100% but making small changes like no soda, no fries, limiting chocolate, etc has made a big difference.

@daniellerenee85: Yeah, I was pretty shocked. But it’s the best motivator I’ve had. I really want to avoid having surgery if diet and medication can keep everything under control.

Hey Ladies!

I weighed in at 136 this AM ~ seeing that I am only 5’1 definately not happy about that! I want to fit back into my clothes & stop having to buy bigger sizes just to have something to wear. I would like to get back to 110 but am just shooting for 120 for now. I want to have a healthy lifestyl & am trying to get back into working out & eating healthier.

My goal this week is to not to stress eat which could be challenging because my wedding is October 2nd! ha! I will try to eat healty, drink a ton of water & get alot of rest starting today! Any ideas on the wedding week diet?

Good Luck Ladies!
