(Closed) Weight Watchers Points Plus Program

Those points are to be used. The first week I was on I barely used any of the extra points because I wasn’t sure. Well I lost a ton (like unheathy amount of weight) and my little pop up came up and told me that I am suppose to use my daily and all my extra’s however I choose be it one specific night out or a little dessert every day. I’m kind of shocked because it seems like sooo much food but it’s about making healthy choices.

My WW leader said you DO NOT have to use them. But, if you don’t use them and then decide one week to use them look out for not as much of a loss or even a small gain. Because you can’t go not using them and then add in 49points addl in one week and see the results. So, use them if you want but be careful going back and forth with using them and not using them.

In my experience, you can lose weight faster if you don’t use them at all, but will still lose weight if you do use them. There were weeks when I didn’t use them and was full and satisfied. Other weeks I chose/needed to use them and still lost weight (although less weight than of I wouldn’t have).

@Evie19: Yeah pretty much, I use them all every week since starting 8 weeks ago. And, I have had an average lose of 2lbs a week since. However, now that I’m better about what I’m eating and staying fuller longer, I’m going to try and not use them as much. The less points worth of food you consume, the more weight essentially you can lose. But, it works both ways….just have to be careful with those extras. But, always, ALWAYS, eat your normal daily points!!!

In the beginning (like now, my first week) I am not going to use them.. probably for a couple of months, until i start plateauing.  Then I may use some. 

My problem is I am eating like the Power Foods, mostly, and nothing processed too much. 

My weigh in is Tuesday, so I’m pretty excited to see how the first week went.

Yeah… the weeklies confuse me a bit. I’ve been dipping into them 2-3 points at a time and then for 7-8 once a week and that’s worked out. Although, I do see that the more weeklies I use, the less weight I lose.
