Soooo, I’m wondering if any of you bees have used Weight Watchers and had some success with it?
I’ve been trying to lose these pounds I’ve stacked on for what seems like forever, I’ve downloaded almost every free calorie counting app I can find (including MFP, Noom weight, loseit & one other.) and no luck. Maybe I’m just not good at tracking or whatever, but I can’t seem to keep it up.
I have a friend who’s recently done WW and she’s had GREAT success with it however I’m not sure if it’s worth the cost (I’d be doing just online.)
So, share our experiences with it? Worth it? No? Any other good apps or anything that’ve helped you?

I’m starting on week 3 and I’m down 4.5lbs. I love WW so much. I was really hesitant at first but now I think it’s the greatest decision I’ve made. I’m attending weekly meetings for my weigh-ins which I think helps a lot. It gives me a sense of accountability. I also use the e-tools and love the app.
If you’re going to do it and want to take it seriously, I suggest going to the meetings and not just using online.

I tried WW about a year ago and although it was working (I was losing weight, roughly 1kg p/week), I found it to require a lot of planning and cooking from scratch! I am not a big fan of cooking and buying so many ingredients for meals was costly, plus the cost of the meetings. I’m a med student, so financially and timewise, this was not viable.
I don’t know where you live, but here in Australia we have a meals plan called Lite n Easy. My parents, brother, sis in law, FI and I have all been doing Lite n Easy and we’ve all lost weight. FI and I have both lost approx 1kg p/week, if not more! And it’s so easy, just gets delivered once a week and I find it to be equal cost to food shopping +buying lunch a few times a week + electricity for cooking.
So what I’m saying is consider your lifestyle and if you have the time and money for WW meal preps. But if you are happy to cook and spend time planning your meals, then it’s great! I’ve never heard of anyone who didn’t lose weight with WW!
