I haven't tried any of these recipes yet because I'm not much of a cook, but everything this woman has on her website looks amazing:
All WW friendly with the points per serving detailed.
I also have a perfect for me WW cookbook. It's 5 ingredient 15 minute recipes.
My favorite is the spicy black bean soup:
2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
1 16 oz package of frozen stir fry peppers
1 package of frozen boca burger crumbles (I substituted a chicken breast for this, same points)
1 14 oz can of vegetable broth
1/2 cup reduced fat cheese (to top after the soup is cooked)
3 points per 1 cup soup, 1 tbls cheese
I mashed half of the black beans and left the rest whole. Just simmer it all together on the stove for about 10 minutes.
+1 vote from me on www.skinnytaste.com
I LOVE her recipes, and I'm not even doing WW or trying to lose weight anymore. Even FI likes it.
Santa Fe Chicken & the Banana Bread are made pretty often around here!
Oh man, that site looks super yummy! My FH is kinda sorta doing weight watchers...he's so picky though. I think this site will help me in planning meals we will both hopefully enjoy, and meals that are healthy for him. Although really I just wish a magic chef would come and do all this for us!
Shrimp (or Crab) Pasta
1/4 c. olive oil
1 small red bell pepper chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 c. flour
1 can (12 oz) fat-free evaporated milk
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1lb. shelled shrimp (or 1 lb. crab, real or imitation)
sea salt and pepper to taste
12 oz. box of penne or similar pasta (I use Barilla Whole Grain)
Cook pasta according to directions. Meantime, saute pepper and garlic in olive oil, mix in flour, cook an additional minute. Add milk while stirring. Cook until thick and bubbly. Add shrimp (or crab), cheese and seasonings. Cook 5 more minutes. Serve over pasta. I sometimes add snow peas for color. Hubby loves this so I make it at least 1X per month which is why I know the recipe by heart.
My 2 current faves are the Buffalo Chicken Lasagna from the WW site and the Crab Cakes from Hungrygirl.com. They are both so delicious that I make them each once a week!

Hi ww bees! I have been an on-and-off member for years, and sometimes I feel like I know the website like the back of my hand... I thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone had any reccomendations for great tasting recipes? Some of them just lack the flavor that I am craving!!!
I would love any suggestions!!!
