I sometimes have dreams about having a baby. (I don’t have kids yet and not TTC for a couple years.)

@cyndistar3: Oh my gosh! So funny that you created this! Want to hear my dream?

Well it was our wedding day, and for some reason at our church instead of pews there were bleachers set up, and all of the guests were sitting in the bleachers, AND there was no roof to our church.

But then I’m waiting in the hallway and the bridesmaids and groomsmen are walking down the aisle, and you know what song is playing?? Firework by Katy Perry!! hahaha and they are dancing down the aisle, and all of the guests are screaming and cheering wildly, and to top it off there were fireworks going on the in the background, (I’m thinking that’s why there wasn’t a roof to the church! hahahah)

Then I woke up! I really wished I would have stayed asleep to find out what I was going to do down the aisle!

This was Saturday? night- my college marching band pretty much became my high school band, same members, director, etc. But FH was also in it (he has never marched nor played a band instrument or even lived in that state). My director was cooing over my ring (super awkward) and said it was alright if FH and I do the feature dance. I’m guessing the show for that week was a dance/movie/broadway/musical showcase. At the same time, he warned me that two individuals that I didn’t care for in high school were going to be practicing it too just “in case”. Well this set me off because these girls always were celebrated for their dancing in high school and I was sick of it. Eventually I find the sheet music and FH and I practice. The sheetmusic read “Grease” but the steps seemed more like Irish Clogging. Just bizzare.

@cyndistar3: OMG your dreams are so crazy!! And scary!! My dreams aren’t like that, they are usually so random. Almost like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on acid. I don’t know why I have them, maybe its something I eat? In between the most recent ones, I have fed dinosaurs cupcakes so that they don’t bite me, played golf on the rooftops of houses in my hometown, rescued 3 tubs of margarine from robbers, had barbershop quartet men fall from the sky, bounce, land on on their feet and sing, and I could go on.. my friends think I’m either on crack or certifiable. The last dream that I had that was really scary was Harry Potter pulling the name “Elephant Spider” of a book page and throwing it at me. I’m arachnophobic so I woke up screaming and crying. haha! I laugh NOW..  *sigh*

I haven’t had a dream like this for a few months, but every night for like a week I had some sort of similar dream where I got separated from SO in a crowd or something and couldn’t get back to him.  One dream I had gone to the bathroom at a sports arena and when I tried to go back to my seat I couldn’t find it.  I had a lot like that for a week straight!  I of course, analyzed it and took it to mean that I was trying to get to my SO and it wasn’t working.  I took it to be a marriage/proposal related dream and my feelings surrounding it!

@cyndistar3: I’m like you.  I have really vivid and terrifying dreams.  Always have.  They’re not fun, but I usually forget them pretty quickly.  I’ve seen people killed in my dreams, been stabbed, seen brutal shit.  But the weird thing is that I’m not stressed, I don’t work in a violent field (I work with budget numbers hah), and don’t watch violent things.  I’ve just kind of accepted that it happens.

Scariest one was I was babysitting my sister and brother, and a man came into the house, murdered my sister and brother in front of me, trapped me in a bathroom, and I woke up just as he was shooting me.  Yeah, it’s fun.

@cyndistar3: Wow, your dream was pretty extreme. I’ve had quite a few ‘weird’ dreams that have left me on the brink of tears. Usually though its a play out of my worst fears in some weird way. But thankfully, since I’ve met my current boyfriend I have had pretty good dreams. Except the one about our first meeting.

I kept having a nightmare that I would go out there, and he picks me up at the airport. Things are going great, until he looses control of the car, and we go plunging off the side of a mountain, and into the water. It sort of had a happy ending because he did pull me to safety, haha… but yeah the really bad, crazy dreams have melted away. If anyone I have the wishful thinking of engagement dream. T_T
