I used to work with a guy who had a fetish with pregnant women. Probably not what you want to hear
I can't say I've noticed the same for myself. I'm sure you're beautiful regardless but maybe you carry yourself differently (other than lugging around your belly) and your confidence is an attractor.
It's all biological. Men are meant to be physically attracted to you when you're pregnant because of the hormones you are releasing. It's the same as when you have your period or when you begin to ovulate.
Absolutely what mwitter80 said. Redder lips due to more blow flow, more hormones being released, typically wider hips and bigger boobs...you're obviously fertile! There's a natural attraction there.
I had the same experience! Also, it got worse after I actually had my baby. Half the time I go out in public with my duaghter I get comments and looks.
Soooooooo weird.
Yeah, Men are actually wired to woman for pregnancy. Going wayyy back to cave men times, men picked woman based on the way their body was made to carry their children. Pregnancy is one of the most womanly things a woman can do. Its attractive to men. Just like when men do really manly (non gross!) things. Its attractive to us!
What you say may have something to it. I also think being pregnant itself is an icebreaker--like you're safe to stare at or make friends with. Like oh, you have babies too or having flashbacks to someone they know who was pregnant. At least that's what I'm telling myself b/c I noticed the extra attention too. I did feel extra feminine though...especially at the beginning of pregnancy.
My husband has prego radar. He can't not look, and neither can I! I am just fascinated with the belly... so we am prob some of those creepos, sorry! lol!
I was once told by a guy that I worked with that men are attracted to pregnant women because when your pregnant you are obviously fertile and men subconsciously and instinctively search out fertile women. haha don't know If that's true or If he was just trying to flirt with me (I was about 8 months along) but I thought it was interesting.
I found that last week too. I'm not visibly pregnant and was all bundled up and kept noticing guys noticing me on a particular day last week...weird...I don't think I had anything stuck to my face or in my teeth but it was odd to notice!
One of my husband's friends would tell me that he always found pregnant women incredibly beautiful, even if it was very early. Must be hard-wired like others have said =o)
Not to mention being pregnant is a huge "Hey world, I had SEX!" :)
Haha, well seems like it's fairly common. I expect to be stared at a bit when I'm visibly pregnant, some people are just fascinated with the belly. But since I'm not showing yet in winter clothes, it just has been a surprise that men especially seem like they can sense it.
Lol I'd take it as a compliment. In my experience, I have always gotten more attention when I'm looking my worse then when I'm all dressed up. Got a ton of attention when I was pregnant and everything on me was more round.
Yes! I had this! My single friend was always so jealous because the men were looking at me and not her! I thought it was so strange too
haha I have never heard the phrase "eyed up" before. I thought you meant your eyes were getting watery!
I have this issue currently. Men have showed more obvious interest when I told them or they saw that I was pregnant...
Im a little late joining in on this BUT...
When i was prego with my 2nd I had a owner of a strip club come up to me while i was shopping at the fred myers by the strip club and wanted me to strip because "Men have a thing for prego women"
I was on bed rest and my doctor would have killed me if he knew i was at the store but I WOULDNT have even considered this... I was shocked
I've been hit on more too and I look pregnant now at 18wks. I had some man ride by and I'm like, ew, I'm pregnant, nasty old man.LOL
Ah this thread had been revived. Ok so now I'm 34 weeks and it still is happening a bit but now only with the younger crowd, which is really weird. I live in a college town and have never been stopped by so many college boys. It's usually when I'm walking the dogs so there's a fine excuse but it never happened so much before I was pregnant. But the thing is the college kids don't realize I'm pregnant (everyone not in college seems to be able to tell just fine), I have no idea how they're so clueless.
I started mentioning it because I couldn't tell if they were just not saying anything or honestly couldn't tell. I'll say we're going to have another little one joining us on walks soon they're like 'oh, you're getting another dog', and I pat my belly and say 'nope, I meant the baby will be here in a month and a half'. And then they ramble about how that's so exciting and they didn't even notice. weird.

Anyone else have this?
In the first trimester I just thought it was because I finally had boobs, which I'd never really had too much of. But now it's the second trimester, I'm not noticeably pregnant when I'm outside with all my winter warm stuff but I also don't have any noticeable boobs with all the winter warm stuff. I thought I was just imagining it until my husband started commented on it.
I'm not a troll but I'm certainly not a super model, why on earth would guys be more likely to eye me up when pregnant than when I'm not. One of my husbands friends commented that I glow now, but my skin has been more dry and broken out since I've been pregnant. It's nice in a way since I feel frumpy half the time but is this normal or do I live in a freaky town?
