I’ve experienced this before, but never so frequently. Yesterday around lunch hour I had a shooting pain that feels like it starts in the back of my head on the right side and shoots toward my right eye. It would be a quick shot of pain every 10-20 minutes or so. When I got home I took an ibuprofen and it didn’t happen again all night. This morning it’s happening again and I didn’t bring anything to take.
What could be causing this? Does it have to do with my eyes?

Hasn’t ever happened to me, but I’ve heard about things called “cluster headaches.” No clue what they are, but my point is, there are lots of different types of headaches and migraines. You might want to make an appointment with the doctor.

I’ve had them many times. I suffer from severe migraines so I always have Excedrin on me, I have had these pains many times, they suck. Excedrin works to get rid of mine. I think it’s just a cluster headache. If it starts effecting your vision or you feel like something is majorly wrong (nausea, sweating, fever etc) go to the Dr asap.

Could be a cluster headache, I get those. But they make me feel like I want to die just to end it. Cluster headaches basically feel like someone is shoving an ice pick through your skull. Ibuprofen would NOT be enough to get rid of it, but they tend to either be short, or repeat every so many hours type thing. Could be a tension headache, could have pinched something in your neck, could be stress, could be sinus pressure. Most of my normal migraines focus on my left eye (right at the inside corner of my eyebrow).
Basically, if it’s unusal for you and it involves your head, or if it happens more than once you should probably see a doc just to rule out the really scary things.

Thanks everyone. It’s coming and going. After I posted this I forgot about it but it just came back. I have never had a migraine before.
My doctor is on leave right now. I could go to a walk-in, but it doesn’t feel that serious to me. I can deal with a shot of pain once every 10-20 minutes or so. The term “Cluster Headache” does sound plausible, as it’s happening in spurts. Maybe I will do some googling on that.
