In combination with the weight I have gained and the heat, I have broken out with pimples on the inside of my thighs. I of course bathe regularly and follow all of the good hygiene rules but I think in combination with my thighs being much larger than they have been, hormones, and the heat my legs are rubbing together and caused this acne. It is extremely uncomfortable when I walk because my thighs now touch. It doesn’t hurt as much when I wear pants but with the heat I am much more comfortable in dresses and skirts. Since I can’t use any type of acne medication, does anyone suggest something that can help heal or alleviate the discomfort?

Could you get some anti-chaffing gel to put on your thighs to reduce the rubbing?

@MissAsB- I didn’t even know there was such a thing. I imagine I can find it at the local cvs/walgreens?

If you like to wear dresses, get a pair pf pettipants- they are like a divided slip. It keeps the skin from being in contact and chafing.
Just a quick check on Google Shopping shows that Dillards and JC Penney have them.

try a mild powder (baby powder) during the day, switch to a mild soap (like dove unsented) at night apply a small amount of hydrocortisone since you are pregnant (idk how far along) try some aloe. you should see a difference with in days

I bought some anti-chaf stuff because I had a similar problem with the heat and increased everything. Deodorant also works to ease chaffing as well.

i think wearing cotton shorts will help and to heal it use bordeuaxs butt paste. i got a free sample for the baby and tried it and it healed immediately. sorry you are going through this but you are not alone.

Try some monistat chaffing gel. That stuff is phenomenal! I let my husband and his buddy use some of mine on vacation (after we had been on a boat all day they had some horrible chaffing) and they were like that stuff is AMAZING and life saving haha. it is.
I personally have gotten some horrible bumps on my chest! i think its from heat and hormones and wearing sports bras that squich my boobs haha. none of my bras fit me anymore so i had to resort to sports bras.

this same thing happened to me. my friend told me to start putting deoderant on my inner things and it seriously works wonders. it hasn’t happened again since i started doing that. quick and easy fix!

I second the Monistat Chafing gel (it’s like, gel to powder, or something). And fun bonus– it works perfectly as a make up primer, too! It’s in the feminine hygeine aisle, next to, well, all the other Monistat stuff.
Mrs. Rainbow turned me on to it in this post: http://www.weddingbee.com/2011/12/29/helpful-series-ace-your-face-pt-1/#more-225510

@foodnerd81: hahaha, I was just going to post the same thing! I was totally thinking oh! that makeup stuff that’s really for chafing! that’s what she needs!

Baby powder has helped me before with chaffing. Try not to scratch. That seems to make it worse.

@roxy821: I have zero constructive adivce, but I just wanted to say that I’ve been getting the same thing, but on my claves and ankles! It’s not from chaffeing, so not sure why they’ve appeared, but they are real life yucky pimples! Never had it before ha ha! I guess I’m lucky that they’re in a place that doesnt really bother me, but it’s just weird. I’m gross though – I enjoy squeezing the nasty buggers heh heh heh. Aaah little pleasures from pregnancy 😉
