If AF stopped last week, I very highly doubt you are pregnant. Sounds to me like you’re gearing up to ovulate. Do you chart or use opks? I’d say get lots of BDing in over the next few days so you can catch that egg when it drops!

Did you ovulate yet if you had your period last week? I recommend getting those ovulation strips, they work great!

@SimplyChic11:  while you don’t need to be obsessed with TTC and cycles like some of us long-termers must seem to be, I think you really need to relearn the basics of your cycle. Just google ‘menstrual cycle basics’ and click on a credible looking link/video.

Most women ovulate at around Cycle Day 12-18, and then IF implantation occurs, that happens 5-10 days after that. So, in most cases the earliest someone could be pregnant is 17 days into their cycle, and this would be quite early (there are, of course, rare exceptions where it might occur earlier, but they’d be very very rare) – and it wouldn’t show up as positive until a few days later.

I also doubt that you could suffer from PMS for three weeks before your period – as PMS is caused by progesterone, which is in your system after ovulation. Most people only have 10-16 days between ovulation and their period (again, there could be rare exceptions to this) – so 2 weeks would be maximum.

So – i think “mother nature is the ultimate troll” in this case ๐Ÿ™‚ all the best for this cycle though!!

@SimplyChic11:  You said you stopped your period about a week ago, then you said you were on day 8 of your cycle, so I’m confused. The first day of a new cycle is first day of your period. Are you really on day 8?

When I ovulate I have cramps, sore breasts and ewcm so sounds like you are ovulating.  (If you are only on cd 8 it is just about impossible to be pregnant and if for some medical miracle you were, you wouldn’t have symptoms yet.) So I am going with you are ovulating.  Go BD!

The first day if your cycle is the first day you experience bleeding. Coming off the pill can do a lot of things to your body. As your hormones regulate you could experience a lot if weird symptoms. Realistically you can’t be pregnant yet, but you can definitely GET pregnant first month off the pill. If not, you might consider charting and/or opk strips. Good luck!
