(Closed) Weird to register for gifts?

I don’t think it’s weird.  You’ll still get the post-wedding discount even if no one buys you anything from the registry.  And people who really would like to send a gift still get a chance to do so easily.  Sometimes, I like getting the chance to see people gifts even if I wasn’t invited.  It’s fun.  I say do a quick one online so you can give it to people who ask and who really want to gift you.

Plus you might still have a shower!! And some people will want to buy off the registry for that. 🙂 But yeah we totally registered for a tower speaker that Luis wants for the downstairs just so he can get the discount, and I did the same thing for a sewing machine. hahaha

I personally think it’s a little weird since you aren’t having something that people are invited to.

But I guess I can see the reasoning behind creating one and giving it out ONLY if someone asks for it.
