I got a gift certificate for Target that was good for $20 toward any item(s) on our registry. I need cat litter and toilet paper right now, do you think I could add that to the registry and get that? It got me thinking about the weirdest registry items you’ve run across. A friend of ours asked for fancy dish sponges.

@renwoman: A $200 ring holder and a $100 4×6 picture frame with no design on it
I am fine with people choosing expensive gifts when the expense is warranted but random stuff you could pick at a fraction of the cost seema odd to me

@renwoman: cat litter and toilet paper
Thanks for making me laugh out loud at the idea that everyone in your house (people and cats) needs to use the bathroom.

I am the kind of person that will buy that bride the weirdest thing she put on her registry. I think buying off a registry is so boring! I don’t even want one for our wedding but FI is making me!

A sno-cone maker. Nothing wrong with wanting one, just seemed kinda odd to me!
My cousin registered for some board games, like Monopoly, Taboo, etc. I ended up getting her one in addition to a couple of other things tho.
