I got engaged a few weeks ago and I'm working on planning a wedding (long distance from Nashville) in Dallas for some time in May 2009. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. : )

My name is Tara and this georgian peach has been actively following this website even before the engagement! As a bridesmaid - I quietly stored all the wonderful ideas for the future and on August 13th of this year - the man got on one knee :). Aloha! I'm Clarissa from Honolulu. I got engaged in August 2006, and will be married on December 29, 2007. Our wedding is a destination wedding for 95% of our guests, who will be coming from all over the US and even South America! We are having an intimate ceremony and reception, and trying to do it on a budget, and all of the DIY posts on weddingbee have inspired me and are helping me plan my wedding. My name is Beth, I live at the NJ shore, and I just got married in June. Due to some sad circumstances, however, it wasn't the wedding we had planned, so we are doing it all over again for our first anniversary/vow renewal next June. So it's at least another year of checking Weddingbee obsessively for me - even more so now that there are boards! Yay!

afternoon! i'm tea from the sunny state of california [bay area!]. i'm not officially engaged yet but the bf and i do plan on getting married in about 2 years time according to the plan he has shaping up in his head but he has given me the all-clear to start researching for our wedding because he knows how much i love to plan [i plan just anything and everything - i've even planned vacations we'll probably never take, haha].
i've read weddingbee off and on for a few years but started reading everyday when my best friend got engaged and she asked tapped me as her wedding planner [see, i'll plan anything].

The western style wedding will be in August 2008. I found out about this site while reading KenzieKate's blog a few weeks ago. I must say that this site is very helpful because most of my friends are not married and I'm glad to see other people going through the same process.
