Yes, I would leave out the names. More people would be able to get use out of them.

I don’t know if you would want to do this, but personally all I am doing on the bags is putting their name on it, and that’s it!

I would suggest putting that information on a cute tag tied to the handles instead.

I agree, leave off the names.  More people are likely to use them after the wedding that way.  The starfish and location sound like they will look cute though!

I am also having a destination wedding and am doing welcome bags.  I used discountmugs.com to get jute bags (they look islandy) and had a palm tree and Bahamas printed on it.  That way, they can reuse it as if they purchased it while on vacation themselves. 

I personally do not reuse anything that has another person’s name on it or event date.  So I am hanging tags from each bag with our logo that has our names and wedding date on it… that way the bags tie into the theme but they can remove it.

@futureMrsDonnelly: It would be easier, (a lot less info to put on the bags) and they will be more likely to reuse it in the future
