Bottle of water is always nice.
maybe a package of cookies for the late night sweet tooth?
Maps/coupons to fun stuff. Maybe a little printed list of your favorite places people can check out (from restaurants to musuems, parks, or just a great boutique or spa!)
Have Fun with it -
You can't go wrong with anything chocolate. Detailed maps to the wedding events, some suggestions on local restaurants or attractions and maybe directions to the nearest drug store. I know I always forget something when I pack. You could include a cute "how we met story" or tell them how special they are and thank them for coming. Or if you have a cool wedding theme, use this as a chance to set the tone. Just some ideas... by no means am I am expert.
Single packet of Aspirin/Tylenol. A great "covering all bases" inclusion.
We did a wedding newspaper details events for the weekend, map, games, articles about the bridal party, fun facts, etc. Here's the link. Our guests LOVED it and thought it was a wonderful way to get to know more about our lives and details of the wedding!
If you want the template, PM me and I'll send it to you! :)
We have about that many coming from out of town as well. Here is what we are hoping to include:
definitely maps, especially transit maps. all the rest of the suggestions are excellent as well!
Im putting a city map in there, bottled water and a small bottle of white wine or sparking grape juice - depending on if the guest is a drinker or not. Im also including some toiletries and a little pack of Moo mini cards, each one will have a photo of an interesting location we think is worth a visit and on the back will be a little about it and the best public transport route to get there. Im thinking of including disposable cameras too
depends what part of nj your wedding is being held.... you can customize the bags depending on what area of the state - you can do things that are boardwalk-y and beachy if it's a down the shore wedding, you can do more swanky if it's a bergen county wedding, you can do farm-y type things if you're in west jersey... anything that is relevant to the area is always really cute - and definitely the-morning-after type of things are great (water, packets of advil, gum, etc)

I have about 75 people coming from out of town for our wedding and I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas as to what to put into the hotel welcome bags. Me and my fiance live in NYC but our wedding is in NJ on October 11th. Thanks.
