Welcome drinks?

I would appreciate ice water, more, as I don’t drink lemonade. (I’m assuming Pimms is an alcoholic beverage, which I really don’t think you should serve without food/on empty stomachs).

I think a welcome drink is a cute idea. I do worry that a dispenser could be complicated if your wedding isn’t super small – you could end up with a ton of people in a line (which normally leads to complaining).

I’d also consider how long your ceremony will be. If it’ll be longer then people might need to use the bathroom in the middle if you’re serving drinks beforehand. Just another angle to think about.

How many guests are you having? We are having a self service drink center, but we are having 5 dispensers.. probably sweet tea, lemon tea, lemonade, pink lemonade & some type of punch or maybe a fruit infused water. We are only having 40ish guests though, so people should be able to get their drinks fairly quickly.

123.srussell:  sounds great! Not sure how many guests you are having, but you will probably need multiple drink dispensers… I would also have some water in mutliple dispensers as well for those that don’t want alcohol or just feel parched…

My caterer will be passing sparkling water and chilled white wine to guests as they wait for the ceremony to start. I think it’s a great idea
