Hello! I live in Irvine, but we are getting married on the campus of UCLA. I've traveled quite a bit, but I have not yet had the chance to visit Chicago. Anyone else here from the OC?
hello fellow LA peeps! mr. lime is kind of from OC (he lived there for 5 years before we got married, and i moved him over the county line).

i'm right on the border of LA and OC. I guess driving is about equal distance anywhere i go, except the traffic factor tends to lead me to OC since they have more lanes

Have been living in L.A. for a while now, and am a Cali native. Ms. Apes, I went to Diamond Bar High for two years, how neat! I just got married on 3/15 in Compton....yep, Compton! Since everyone else is giving shouts out on the local boards, I'm glad Miss Jasmine put L.A. out there too!
MsDuck: I was in the School of Social Sciences too (Poli Sci)! I definitely miss it too. I especially miss my late night In 'N out runs :)
mlindsey: Cool! I actually live in Walnut, but grew up in West Covina (attended Bishop Amat), went to college in the OC (Go Titans!). I will be moving to the City of Orange to kick off our married life. Hehe! :D

I love all the OC brides on here! Okay, so it looks like I didn't give enough info. Born in the OC, went to High School in Rowland Heights (lived in Walnut), graduated from University of La Verne, now live in Irvine and work in Hacienda Heights (and in grad school at CSUF). My fh born and raised in Huntington Beach, undergrad at UCLA, grad school at Berkeley. Whew... I'm torn between the OC and LA -- love to live in the OC, but something always draws me towards LA...
LA's awesome but sometimes i really hate the traffic and rush.. i work in downtown LA and it is crazy at the end of the day.. but overall its wonderful to be able to call such a diverse place home.
enchanted....I agree. I have to go downtown when my job requires me to. Otherwise, I don't spend a lot of time down there (and I don't live far from it) I'm not a very anxious person, but driving around the crowds, traffic and one-way streets really plucks my nerves.........
It's nice to meet brides/wives close to home! ;D And Calico, I went to CSUF for my undergrad. ;D

Hey future L.A. brides! I grew up in West L.A. and have spent several years on the east coast getting my undergrad and masters degrees. Now I'm back in my home city of L.A. and very excited to be getting married in November 2008 in downtown L.A.!!

i was also born and raised here and my husband-to-be moved here from the east coast.
I grew up in Chicago and moved to LA almost 2 years ago. I live in Silverlake, which is pretty much considered LA proper. Its a great neighborhood, I love it a lot.
