Hello! My name is Amity, and I am 23 years old. I was to get married on May 26th, but recently found out my cousin is getting married on the same day (oh no!). As of now, idk when the new date will be, but I'm considering July 7th. I'm a DIY bride, and I'm going for a modern victorian/ecclectic feel, if that makes any sense. Hello! My name is Jenny, I am 28 and live in the Valley of the Sun! Fiance and I have been engaged FOREVER. Seriously I may take the crown on this, we've been engaged for seven years. We hit some rough patches in the beginning and what not but have been doing really well for the last 4 years. We are finally talking about having the actual wedding and are looking at winter 2012/2013.
We are either going to have it in our backyard, or go to Vegas. Haven't decided yet! But most definately a budget friendly bride and enjoy reading about everyone elses plans and DIY projects!

I got married in July of this year and have a tentative wedding date of Nov 15th, 2014.
The planning has begun because we're trying to budget super tight and I'm a bit of a do it yourselfer so I plan on getting crafty with it (ignore the cheesiness of that statement). We're looking at a fall harvest wedding, with traditionally autumn colors.
I came across Weddingbee through Google Reader and fell in love with some of the blogs. But I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you lovely ladies!

We got engaged last new years and I started wedding planning early this year. We get hitched in two months:) YAY!
I still consider myself a new bee here. Planning July 6th 2012 bride here. FI and I feel kind of 'married' since we've been together 8 years but now we are planning the fun ( I hope) party. I'm a proud mom of a Boxador dog and cat (haha) and work as a RN. Enjoying the board thus far.....but one question. It's silly I'm sure. How do you modify the picture size when posting? I try moving the arrow length/width and it always seems to come out huge. I just wanted to check if there was something I could be doing. Thanks!
Hi! I'm Claudia from Mexico City. I got engaged a year ago and am currently living with FI, we just started working on all the wedding stuff like a month ago and we will be getting married on april 21st 2012. Venue and church have been selected and next week I'm going to Philly to pick up my dress (well actually, job related but I will be shopping as much as I can) I discovered and got addicted to weddingbee like 2-3 weeks ago, but just registered this tuesday. I love it here!
Hi Hive! I have been reading WeddingBee for such a long time! I got engaged in April 2011, but discovered WeddingBee throughout the year before that while my sister was planning her wedding. My FI and are getting married May 12, 2012. 13 months sounded like a long engagement but it is going by so fast! I absolutely love this community and am so excited to be a part of it!

Hi Ladies!! welcome to the bee! This can be an awesome community, amazing place for advice, laughter and a shoulder to cry on. Just please, please make sure you read and understand the ToS....unfortantly if they are not followed you are at risk of bring banned and kicked out of the bee forever.
Hopefully there are changes being made with the ToS, certain MODS and the abilty for us to delete our own post (which we cant do now, you have to request a MOD to do so). But until then, read the ToS, understand them and enjoy the HIVE!!

I'm Chae, 22, and I have the date, the dress, and the venue, but that's about it! Deployed until the end of the year and planning a wedding over here is tough but it keeps me motivated, and it helps having a great fiance at home waiting for me :)

This is a second marriage for both of us, but it's my first WEDDING! The first was a JP in our living room (that's a whole other post in itself). We got engaged in July and are getting married ONE YEAR FROM TODAY!!! WOO HOOOOO!!!! September 9, 2012! We've booked most of the major vendors for The Big Day. We are getting married near the beach where we live - and I hope to sprinkle in some DIY projects :-) I found Weddingbee while Googling something - I have no idea what it was - and am completely addicted. I've thought about applying to blog, but it seems SOOOOO competitive. Anyhooo, that's about it for me!
