Hi Hi and Happy Independence Day to all the bees!
I'm Jennifer, 23 and I'm an administrative assistant. My FI is Rob, 25 and a retail manager on the Las Vegas Strip.
He proposed the night before my 23rd birthday by carving "Will-You-Marry-Me-?" in cursive on to five large pumpkins and lit them up with candles in our living room. The fall is my favorite time of year and so he made sure that I will always have one of my most special memories to associate with my favorite season. :)
Our wedding is only 2 months and 1 week away! Coming up so fast!

My name is Leah, I'm 22 and live in Michigan. I work full time and my FH and I met at work. I recently graduated from Michigan State University, he graduated from Central Michigan. We got engaged on 5/5/09 my dads bday, my last final, my last day as a part time associate at the company I am now a manager at and cinco' de mayo! It was a busy but happy, happy day! My FH and I are currently living together, we moved in about a week after he proposed!
I am very excited to have such great girls and such a helpful site as I prepare for my wedding next june 6/26/2010 on mackinac island!

Hello Ladies! I am also a neebee. I've actually been watching this website for a little while before deciding to become a member and so far i absolutely luv it.
My future hubby porposed to me on December 13, 2008 after a night of fun with his family. We have been together for 4 1/2 years and have 2 little boys. 1 3 year old and 1 1 year old(backwards i know:) ) We are gettin married December 11, 2010 and I am SO excited! Can't wait

I'm new to the site too, though I have made a few posts lol I just saw this introduction thread so I thought I had better introduce myself. My name is Kasey and I am 20 years old and my fiance is 24 years old. I have been engaged since the first of March, and our wedding date is most likely to be sometime next summer. The date hasn't been nailed down yet mainly because my fiance is currently deployed to Afghanistan for a year (he proposed the night before he shipped out after I had flown to Alaska to help him get ready for his departure) so we don't know exactly when he will be back yet. This is his 3rd tour and I can't wait until December when he gets his midtour leave! I miss him a lot. 
I'm a full time student at FSU and Mr. HoneyBunny is a Airborne Infantryman in the U.S. Army ( a grunt hehe). I haven't planned much concerning the wedding yet, but I do know that we will be having the ceremony on the beach. I expect WeddingBee will have a large hand in helping me figure out the rest of the details.
Hi, hi! After stalking this board for some time, I decided to finally join. I got engaged to my fiance on New Year's Day / Eve 2009 and we're getting married next June. We're having a small picnic wedding at his family's lakeside cottage.
I'm a design coordinator right now, but I'm going back to school for my MFA in fiction in the fall. He's a marketing specialist. We're looking forward to doing lots of DIY and I'm so excited to be in such a warm, supportive community!
Hi all. I am also a newbee! I feel I joined a little late, my wedding was a month ago, but I've been reading Weddingbee since I got engaged in October 2008 on a daily basis. And I absolutely love this site! It's been a source of endless inspiration through all my wedding planning. So I decided it's not too late to join the bees.
About us, I am a peruvian architect and my husband is an american construction contractor. We live in Westchester, NY and have a 4 year-old son.
Our wedding day was one of the happiest days of my life, surreal and beautiful!
I am really excited about being part of the Weddingbee community!!!
Hi Everyone! I am also new, my friend who works for Eharmony sent me the link back when I got engaged on New Year's Eve, but I recently joined after I realized I needed help/advice/support outside of my immediate circle of friends and family. The kicker was (my first post) when my FI and I went to my Gmom's house for Easter with my entire extended family, no one even asked to see my ring or asked about the proposal! I was very hurt and so was my FI - unfortunately weddings just aren't a big deal to some people NOT HERE!
I never wanted to be a June bride since it rains so much on the East Coast, but my sister is getting married this Dec. so we agreed to wait 6 months after her date. I'm also from Philadelphia and couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else even though I no longer live there. So here I am, planning a June wedding in Philadelphia while living in NYC.
I absolutely love this site, there are so many great ideas and wonderful inspiration!

My name is Tamara and I just got engaged June 18th. I think that I'm getting the hang of the bee pretty quick. I'm already addicted. I got the link to this site from mywedding.com.
I am a Barista and my Honey works at Fred Meyer. He's 18, I'm 20. We live in Portland and are planning a September wedding out in the country.

Hi bees! I've been lurking for a year (hides in shame) and finally decided to start posting. I'm getting married on October 10 2009 in Auckland, New Zealand (where FI and I live). By the time we get married we would have been together 4 1/2 years and living together for 4 of those. I'll be 23 (it's my birthday in 2 days yay) and Brad will be 24.
Like panda in England there realy isn't a community like Weddingbee in NZ so it's been a great help to my wedding plans so far to read all about the bee's weddings, Fi doesn't need to ask me anymore what I'm looking at online, it's always Weddingbee!

Hello everyone! I've been obsessed with weddings for a long time now, and am finally to the point where I'm planning my own: my boyfriend of almost three years proposed three weeks ago Friday while we were spending the weekend at my aunt's house in El Paso.
When not wedding planning (for my wedding that's two years away at least *cry*), I'm a 25 year old graduate student, studying to get my MA in Technical Writing (a program that will, not coincidentally, take two years for me to complete). I grew up in Massachusetts, but will be moving to Texas for that program in about two weeks. Lots of changes going on in my life, but they're more than survivable as long as I just go with the flow!
This site is amazing, and I'm excited to be part of this community!
Hey ladies! I've frequented Wedding Bee for the past 2 months but am newly engaged. My boyfriend proposed in June in our apartment. We've decided to elope for a number of reasons mainly financial, to avoid stress and we're hoping to relocate with new jobs. I'm very excited and comfortable with the decision but we still want to maintain a few wedding traditions. Our parents are aware of our elopement and next year we'll have a celebration of some sort; however now it's just a matter of choosing colors, flowers, accessories, etc!

I am a PhD student in Kinesiology and I live in London, Ontario Canada! Any other Canadians out there? F***in eh!
I am planning a wedding for August 21 2010 yet I do not have a ring as of yet 
The boy and I have been together for almost 6 years and have been living together for 4 years and so we have just started planning because we knew venues were getting booked up for 2010 and he wanted to keep his proposal plans the same and quiet! So here I am - planning a wedding and impatiently waiting

I'm another Canadian bride, originally from Ottawa, ON, but now living in New Brunswick with my FI! We're both recent university grads (his degree is in languages, mine is in theatre and creative writing), and are planning our wedding for a summer date in 2010. We got engaged about two weeks ago, and yesterday told both families the good news.

I am a NewBee too! I've been around for a week or so and am already totally addicted to the boards! I have been engaged since last x-mas, but am in grad school so I didn't really start planning until this summer. I am getting married in Mendocino (a tiny town on the coast in Northern California where I grew up) on July 25, 2010. These boards are fantastic, with such a supportive and creative group of girls! I am so excited to join your ranks. I will be doing a lot of DIY projects for my wedding and have already gotten a lot of inspiration from here.
Hello Bees! I stumbled across this website last week - and have been addicted since!
I'm a British Bride-To-Be marrying gorgeous Bermudian man! We met here in London, UK 2 years ago - and are marrying in my home village next March - with a 2nd blessing/party in Bermuda in May!
He proposed in May - he took my away for a surprise log weekend to Rome, Italy - and got down on one knee by the Trevi Fountain very early on the morning of my birthday - so romantic! He'd even chosen the ring himself - which I just love, love, love!
Am finding there are lots of cultural differences between the UK and US wedding days - so this site is helping me navigate my way through them!
And as many of the others bees have mentioned - am getting loads of tips and ideas! x

I'm Sherilyn and I'm 25 years old. My fiance and I live in the Boston area with our kitty. In addition to working full-time, I'm going to school in the evenings and weekends for nursing. We got engaged in July 2008 and have been planning an October 2010 wedding. Originally, I was supposed to be done with school by then but it turns out I'll be finishing two months after our wedding :(
About the wedding plans so far...we have most of our major vendors booked and I'm DIYing a lot with the help of weddingbee. We're having a Catholic ceremony and a country club reception, very classic & traditional. Approx. 150 guests. I'm also the maid of honor for my sister next month (9/12) and bridesmaid for my future sister-in-law (brother's fiance) in February.
So there's a lot on my plate! Looking forward to getting to know you all here at WeddingBee :)
Hello everyone, I'm Ms. JR, I've been engaged 3 months now to Mr. JM! We've been dating for a yr and a half. Did the long distance thing for the first 9 months of dating. We plan on having a destination wedding in Aruba, May 2010. Right now, I'm living, breathing, dreaming wedding everything and everything. I think the Mr. gets a little jealous that I'm on the computer 24/7! Its his fault right, he proposed!

Hello! I'm a new member who stumbled across the hive online and has been in love since. So many helpful, inspiring, thoughtful and fun things to read and look at.
My fiance and I live in Sweden, I'm all Swedish and he's an immigrated American. I'm finding it very helpful to learn some more about American wedding customs since his family will be flying over here and I want them to recognize things.
We got engaged January 3rd of this year on the ice of the Woolman Rink in Central Park in New York. He was so nervous and I was so surprised that none of us remember what he said except that there was a question and a yes.
Our wedding is going to be a casual family affair with a BBQ reception, and since I love crafts there will be a lot of DIY.

I just joined recently and I can't believe how helpful this site is. Everyone has been so helpful, solved the two main concerns regarding my wedding just by asking people for advice. I also purchased my veil from someone on this site and I will be incorporating alot of DIY ideas for my planning. I love this site!! I find myself logging in here more than I check my e-mails from work. LOL...
I am not really a newbee, but this is the first time I have introduced myself. I officially registered today so I guess that makes a member and not just a guest. : ) I have been engaged for over a year and am past the two month mark to the wedding (10/17/09). My finace and I live in the DC area and have been together for a little over three years.
I found weddingbee a while ago and have been reading religiously. I love hearing others stories and challenges as well as the results of their labor. It is the perfect break from work and gives me the light at the end of the tunnel of planning a wedding over 15 months. I started posting as a guest for the give aways but slowly started responding more so I figured it was time to register and introduce myself.
I also frequently talk to others about this blog and they kind of look at me like I am crazy. They just don't know the awesomeness that is weddingbee.
