Weddingbee boards

Howdy!!

I'm Miss Boot...soon to be Mrs. Boot on December 30th this year!! I'm just a bit excited! Mr. Boot and I got engaged on December 24th last year, and I've been watching Weddingbee ever since - but I didn't wanna post. After a little encouragement from my friends I decided to give it a shot. I don't blog, so I'm sorry if this is a bit awkward. 

Well, a bit about Mr. Boot and myself.

We went to high schools that are separatd by a parking lot - me to an all girls high school and him to an all boys high school - the classes were small so it wouldn't have been totally out of the ordinary for us to meet. BUT, that wasn't to be. We both went to Texas A&M in College Station, TX - WHOOP! There we met each other in the fall of our freshman year just randomly after church one time. After that, we both dated other people, but in the spring of our freshman year we were both single and not planning on dating. God had other plans. We starting hanging out and by March we were going on our first date to the Houston Rodeo. 

Weekends begin on Thursday for people who live in College Station (not sure if this is true for any other place, but i'm sure it applies elsewhere). So naturally, we would go dancing till about 2 in the morning every thursday. This is where my name comes into play. We loved to go country western dancing - Mr. Boot taught me how to two step and polka. We took dancing lessons together. As the years progressed and I started studying - we went dancing less, but still never lost the love for it. For the wedding, I wanna dance the whole night so heels aren't an option. Boots. Mr. Boot and I, Miss Boot, are both going to be wearing boots to our wedding. He just got some REAL nice black boots and my future mother-in-law bought me some awesome white boots. Hence the name, Miss Boot.

But back to the story. Mr. Boot and I have been dating since our freshman year. We got engaged on Christmas Eve last year in College Station - that was such a surreal feeling, I can't even imagine what the actual wedding day is gonna feel like. Hah! Mr. Boot and I both just graduated from A&M in May. The picture below is from my graduation - Yay! (Don't you love my cap!)

I'll post more about the engagement story and everything having to do with Mr. Boot and myself, but it has been a long day. So, goodnight! 

I don't have many pictures up tonight - I'm sorry. I'll post more pictures with every other post that I do.
