So ladies, In my opinion I made the ultimate wedding mistake and I feel like an idiot. We have recently moved, so on our response cards I printed an incorrect address which was a hybrid of our old address and our new address. I was wondering why we haven’t received any responses. Now I am knee deep in damage control. Any words of advice ladies or words of encouragement? I feel like an idiot! Did anyone else have any errors with their invitations!!!!! UGH….

So you responses dont have either your old address or new address? But a mixture of the two? Oh man, that is a mess. How many people did you invite? Is it possible to send out an email asking for confirmation or with your correct address on it? Have you tried contacting the post office to see if they have any lost in translation letters in your name?

Oh no. I haven’t sent mine out yet, but I will double check it before I do now.

If the address you used actually exists, perhaps you could contact the people at that address and ask them to help you. Of course you would offer them something in return.
If the address does not exist, the post office will return the replies to the return addresses on the envelopes (if there is one).
How many invitations did you send? You could either phone everyone or send out an urgent email to all your invitees letting them know about the problem, giving them the correct address, and/or providing them an email address/phone number/ or website by which to RSVP.
So sorry this happened to you. It could happen to anyone. Don’t beat yourself up about it.
