@StL.Ashley:  Hahaha, that’s too funny! She had it for five minutes?! Lol. On another note, did I imagine that you said you might be moving (only remember that post bc I am also from StL)?

Haha oh well and least it didn’t end badly. I’d feel super weird if someone asked me. I wouldn’t dare to ask someone unless I knew them VERY well.

Hey, did your FI end up taking the job in New Jersey?

I don’t think I’ve ever asked anyone to do that when I was still un-engaged.  I’d wait for my own ring, thanks!

@StL.Ashley:  …that is WEIRD…the ONLY person who ever tries my ring on is my Mom…because its an emerald cut diamond and she’s got a boner for it…so whenever we’re together…sooner or later she’ll pull it off my hand, put her 1ct princess cut in yellow gold on my finger and wear mine for a while….just to pretend, you know?

@StL.Ashley:  ok good because this side is nothing like europe.  But Yes where I live I could get to DC or NYC in 2 hours or less, plus Boston is only slightly further.  I live an hour from atlantic city.  I love being coastal.  I travel a lot so I know that MO isn’t the best lol (for me at least)

@StL.Ashley:  Well I wish you lots of luck for the wedding and the move.. I hope it all goes as planned. I am sure you will adjust to the new place, and hopefully it’ll be a fun new adventure. I think you said in your other post that this doesn’t necessarily have to be a permanent move, but I hope this furthers your FI’s career and you can find something you enjoy doing as well!

You’re so sweet, I would have probably said…”ummm…no thanks.”with a smile.

She wore it for 5 minutes??? that’s odd. I’ve asked to see people’s e-rings before, but never put them on. Awkward moment.
