I'm glad everything went good and you are happy! Hope you heal fast! :)
That's great that you are feeling so well after your surgery! Are you taking a lot of pain medicine or you don't really need it because you don't feel much?
i was thinking about you today! dont be freightened by the torpedo look, they even out within a few weekks-i promise! how many cc's did you go with? did you go under the muscle? happy healing!
Thanks ladies!! MissAsB - I am really not having to take the pills much, they say to take 2 every 4 hours but I have only taken one since I had the surgery at 8 this morning.
-I am also very fortunate to work with a massage therapist who is going to work with me on getting that muscle back to where it needs to be which with help with making sure that pectoral muscle doesnt tighten up and cause back pain, decrease the scare tissue and with the healing at a faster rate. Any one getting or thinking of getting a breast aug, I highly recommend finding someone to work on those muscles for you or with you.
Aw thanks for the thoughts alisha and the well wishes! I thought about you today too and was wondering how your healing was going. I went with silicone under the muscle and got 325 cc's. So far I seriously love them, and cant wait for the torpedo look to fade, I know its perfectly normal but its still odd lol, that and they are up to my chin lol which I know they will shift but its all so weird at first!
@Rosie - Thanks so much for the well wishes! They are greatly appreciated =)
i am almost 5 months post op, on june 7 i will be, and mine have pretty much settled but ive heard they can be ever-changing up til about a year, especially the scars. i have salines right now, but will eventually change over to silicone because my doc wont go any larger with my salines since i am very narrow and dont have much skin. Thats great that u are online! My first night i was sooo high on percocet i could barely walk myself in the bathroom! lol too bad ur fiance isnt there with you :(
Yay! It's always nice to hear when a surgery went well; anathesia is a scary thing! I hope that you enjoy taking it easy for a while, and make sure you follow your Dr.'s reccomendations about what kind of bras you can wear and when you can wear them!
Oh, and random thought: Don't be surprised/upset if when they're all healed up they aren't *exactly* the size your doc said they would be! I used to work for Victoria's Secret and women with implants would come in for their first real bras post-op and throw hissy fits that they "paid for a 36D!" but were clearly a C (or sometimes a DD!) and refused to be put in the right size bra....yeesh.
Anyways, rest up and don't be afraid to take your pain meds! They give them to you for a reason you know ;)
@Teddy - Thanks so much doll!
@pharmy - we really didnt even discuss a cup size. To be honest I really dont know what I am, I am guessing I will be a small D/full C but I focused more on the cc's and the look of them when I was trying them on. My dr made it a point for me not to get too hung up on wanting a certain cup size because they change with each body type and type of bra but thanks so much for the advice. I am suppose to stick with sports bras for awhile but I am so excited to buy my first bra! eeeep!
@Alisha- I know I was so so bummed that FI couldnt be here for the surgery but my sister has been great. The FI just called and surprised me with the news that he will be landing in OKC tomorrow at noon to care for me for the weekend and make sure everything is ok, I am so excited!!
See, I told you everything would be fine! :) Glad everything went well. Message me if you have any questions or concerns. And trust me, after the swelling goes down, shopping will be a blast! Woot! :)
I am glad everything went well! I knew it was coming up soon, and I've been thinking about you! Hope your recovery is smooth!
Thanks for letting me know about this thread shannon1126...I must have missed it and was still trying to follow the pre-op thread. Great to hear how well you are doing and glad you are pleased with the results. As you know, I only wanted a B-cup and at first I was a little worried they were two big. But, the swelling really went down for me at about the 8 week mark. They are most definitely a B, and I can say I am absolutely thrilled with the size. Give us more updates when you get the chance :)
I have to add this, based on what pharmy posted...I "look" like a B-cup, but at Victoria's Secret, I am actually a C due to the width of the implants. Implants are just wider than natural breasts.

Wow I am so surprised how well my breast aug went today! I got a little worried but was a lot more calm than I thought I would be and it went so smooth. They are a swollen and odd shaped bc of the swelling but the DR assured me they would shape up and be fine, which I knew what to expect bc I did my research. I really dont have much pain at all and besides the tightness I feel great. I love them already and thank you bees who helped me so much in making my decision and answering all my probing questions (special thanks to @Lees4308, @alishadhs4 and @MissAsB bc she is always so positive and supportive). I am so excited and happy that I decided to do this since we postponed the wedding and can not wait to go dress shopping all over again! Yay and again thanks everyone, you guys are truly great! I love this place!!
