Hope my secrets safe with the hive, since we're not telling family and friends until the shower. I'm going to be surrounded by boys for the rest of my life.
TEAM BLUE!
My a/s scan went very well and the baby looks great. I'm still measuring 5 days ahead, but they aren't going to change my due date. I have to go back in 2 weeks because my bladder wasn't full enough and the baby was really low, so the only measurement they couldn't get was his head. I'm fine with that though since I get to see the little bean again :)
Now can someone help me find white animal heads that don't cost an arm and a leg? It's time to start putting together a nursery! Here's my inspiration:

You could buy a colored animal head and always spray paint it white. Might be a cheaper option.

Yay!!! I am so excited for you (I am a lurker on the pg and ttc and the other boards) and have been following you and the other ladies for a while. It seemed that there were girls being conceived but now it seems the tide may be turning. Can't wait for the other Junebug mamas. I'm looking at you Plantains. Congrats once again OP!!

And that photo is one of my inspiration photos, as well, and we've found smaller heads at Zgallerie for $50. Not sure if we're definetly throwing random animal heads in there, but I looked them up, just in case.
Oh, that is so wonderful! Big congrats to you and your DH! The nursery is going to be AWESOME.
Re: the animal heads (never a sentence I thought I'd type!) maybe try a sporting store? You might have to paint them...

And if you're looking for white animal heads check out younghouselove.com, the wife of the husband and wife team is OBSESSED with white animal heads... you can probably do a search on their blog and find a good site on where to get them or a tutorial on how to make one yourself! :)
@bree72: I have the smaller deer head from zgallerie and I LOVE it! Also my mom does some upcycling and such, but she found some plastic type deer heads on ebay and painted them and they looked great! I think it was something like this and she just spray painted it, it was bigger and looked very similar to the one in the pic (I sort of think it might be the same thing they did)

Ahhhhh! Congrats!!!!!!!! So happy to hear that baby boy is healthy! And it's so fun to be able to start planning the nursery and thinking about your SON instead of your baby!!! CONGRATS!
We think we are having a boy too, but it won't be confirmed until mid February.

Congrats! When I have kids, I will definitely find out the gender too... I wouldn't be able to wait!
