@emeraldangel02:  what a shame I’ve been following your posts and I think you really have a lot to offer. The other post just got overheated.  Good Luck:)

You really shouldn’t let a few bad posts turn you off from the whole site. There are some heated threads on the bee but if you avoid the few that there are the bee is not at all the way you described it. Too bad! Good luck with everything :)!

That’s a shame.

I do think though, if you don’t like the drama – don’t get involved in a debate and give people your opinion when you don’t want to hear someone elses.

I am so sorry you have had some bad experiences with the bee! I also use offbeat bride and am anything but traditional. I have found a great little community on here mostly buy starting threads that really speak to who we are as a couple, as a result I have a core group of fellow non traditionalist that I follow and share with.

I wont lie I have seen my fair share of ( in my opinion) overly dramatic brides to be, but hey to each there own…it just makes me smile bigger that I am not the kind of girl who gets wrapped up in ring size, bridesmaid drama, and all that jazz.

Hope you find the support your looking for somewhere!

I’m going to close this one down, as flounce posts are against the TOS:

xi.      Members come and go, but we discourage “flounce” posts (hasty goodbyes criticizing Weddingbee or its users that are written to stir up drama).  We reserve the right to delete or close these posts if they are particularly disruptive to the community.

Wishing the best of luck to the OP!
