wow! I guess that’s good if you wanted to lose weight. Good luck with the alterations.

i’ve been stress eating myself. 🙁

I had to have my dress re-altered just a few days before my wedding.  I was lucky as I hadn’t picked up my dress from the shop where I bought it and originally had it altered.  They did the second set of alterations for free and in less than 3 business days.

I won’t go into my whole dress disaster, but my wedding dress shop altered “my” dress (taken in) in 2 hours while I waited. And it had many layers. Really depends on how busy they are.

@livingthelifemommyandwife: I want that problem! haha! I am the heaviest I have ever been! Would love to lose 5-20 lbs! Even 5 would be good! more than 15 might not look as good on me. But maybe?

Firstly, yay you!!! Secondly my alterations place does not do the final alterations until 2 weeks before hand for this very reason. Apparently lots of brides lose weight due to stress so they do it as close as possible to the day to make sure it fits! You’ll be fine 🙂
