I tried that on, it was one of my top contenders.   I love it on you!!  The one I tried was also gold, so I’m not sure how the Ivory would look.  That was one of the things I loved most about it though, the unique color.

@simone_s:   What a stunning dress!!!  I’d be leaning towards the ivory, but with your coloring I think you could go either way.

I love the gold! But I also had a gold dress! So I’m biased.

I love it! I’m into purely white dresses, so I’m no help in terms of color.

@simone_s:  I actually thought that WAS the ivory you’ve got on (until I saw the other photos) – it’s not very gold, especially from a distance. And the colour looks amazing on you.

I don’t think the details of the bodice would show up as well in ivory on ivory either, and the details are what set the dress apart.

I usually prefer the traditional white/ivory for a wedding gown but the gold dress looks great on you!

@simone_s:  I didn’t really have any major concerns with the dress.  I just decided that I didn’t want any bling and ended up choosing a non-sparkle lace mermaid dress.  Also, the salon where I tried it didn’t allow pictures.  We snuck one photo, but at that point the clips had loosened and the dress was bagging off of me and therefore the pic does not look flattering which made me rule the dress out.  With you, that is clearly not the case.  In your pics, the dress is extremely flattering, you really look great!  Here’s the dress on me.  I was going to remove the attached sash and add a thin sparkle belt, so that’s why the belt area looks a bit strange in my photo- I have two belts on.
