I went dress shopping by myself today, and found a Watters and Watters dress that I really like. I'm going back on Saturday to look at the possible contenders with my mom and my big sis. I was originally looking for a dress with a fuller skirt and maybe lots of lace, so I'm surprised at how much I like this dress. It's still more than I should spend on a dress, but my mom is being amazingly supportive. What do you think of this, the Marguerite?

Wow, I think that dress is stunning!  I love it!  If it's in your budget, I think it's a great dress.

It's so pretty!  Before you buy the dress, consider getting a price quote from Netbride.com.  They carry the Watters line and I had a couple of Watters dresses I liked quoted by them for significant price savings over what I was quoted in the store!

Gorgeous! Check House of Brides, too, by the way.. since they have a brick & mortar store (in IL, I think) I found shops were more ready to accept/match their price.

The bottom of it has so much detail, beautiful.  I was the same way, I had something in my mind and went for something completely different once I tried on dresses.  I really liked a dress that was a bit more than I wanted to spend, thought on it and went to like five more dress shops and found one that looked just as good for half the price.   Yours is a stunning dress but it might be worth it to go to a few more shops and then if you don't find anything else that looks that good you'll know it was definately worth the extra money.

I love that dress, mine is a Watters dress also, the WTOO line. Her name is Teresa and I can't wait to get her back from the seamstress and see what I look like now that I won't be swimming in the dress anymore!!  Excellent choice BTW

That's a beautiful dress!  As for online shops, you may also want to try Jay's bridal online (they also have a brick and mortar store in FL) or netbride.com as well.  Good luck!  :D

Thanks, everybody! I love weddingbee. It's like I actually got to go dress shopping with a bunch of really sweet and helpful friends. :) And thanks for all the suggestions on checking other places for the best deal, I'm definitely going to do that before Saturday.

@Bellini - the shop I was at quoted me $830, and 15% off if I order within 5 days. But I also found it at www.weddingshoppeinc.com for $720, I think, and their brick and mortar store happens to be in St. Paul, which is good for me.

I think it is beautiful- and the best part is that is is simple enough that you can rock some amazing jewelry or veil or whatever and not worry about looking too busy!

I wanted to comment because usually this dress style is not my thing but I LOVE it. I love the lace detail at the bottom. If you're able, definitely take pictures next time and post them. Everyone on weddingbee loves "dress porn" as we call it :)

I tried this dress on and it was definetly a favorite.  What you can't see in the picture is that it has 3 layers and each layer has different lace detailing!!  It was gorgeous!  I would have gotten it but I didn't feel it fit well in a beach wedding :(  But if I was getting married anywhere else, it would have been the one!

Just Curious, on what you decided on? I am planning a beach waiting in Kauai in June, but I cannot decide on a dress. I love the Hope dress in Watters collection but I can't find a place that sales here so I can try it on.

@jaxy - I decided not to go with the Watters dress above because my mom and sis told me it wasn't flattering on me. :( I can see their point though - I think I'd have to be very slender to pull it off. I went with the Marisa 815 instead.

@stacy marie - thank you! I wish I could've rocked it, but oh well.
