In a rush I jumped in the shower 15 minutes before I left for work. Not only did my son almost miss the bus but I could not for the life of me find my hair brush. I text my 13 year old daughter to find out she had it in her backpack. Thank goodness I have one at work in my desk. I am usually the second one in the office so I was lucky no one caught me looking like a wet poodle.
Anyone else have to go to work like this? Or something else crazy? I remember one other time right after I had my son I couldn’t find my nursing bra and it was the only one that fit, I had to go w/o one! I bought one on my lunch hour that day. So uncomfortable!!!

I once spent half a day at work before I realized that my skirt was on inside out… thanks to my coworkers for not mentioning this!
Tuesday, when one Monday isn’t enough.

Lol at least you’re in AZ so your hair likely would dry quicker than it would for me… here in cold Canada 😛
I’ve definitely showed up for work in various states of “completion”.. I am one of the earliest people here too 🙂

Why did your daugther have your brush??
I’ve never had a morning like this – and I’m glad, too! But luckily you had the extra brush at work!

@abbie017: She likes mine I guess! lol I don’t know where she put hers, didn’t think to ask her but since it is just me and her we usually only have one or two brushes around the house.

I leave my house with wet hair pretty much every day. Way too lazy to dry it, I value sleep, those extra 15 minutes are GOLD.

@MsGinkgo: I am in the same boat. I have thick hair and it is much easier to let it dry naturally.

I have thick ringlets and start my work day at 7am. It’s a wet head or stay home!

@MsGinkgo: I was sleeping in today too, I did NOT want to leave my warm comfy bed. Wet hair is always worth the extra 15 minutes! lol

@realtreegal: yeahhhhhh. i do that several days a week and hope for the “beachy wavey hair” by the time i get to work. haha

I don’t know how people leave with reeeeally wet hair! I atleast have to have it up in a towel for a few minutes then air dry for a few more before I leave, if not I take a blow dryer to it for a few seconds.

@BellaDee: I had it in a towel for about 2 minutes. I was more frustrated that I couldn’t brush it until I got to work. Ugh :/ lol

I couldn’t do this. I’d be terrified someone would see me. I am usually the first in the office but that would be the day that I wasn’t. The drowned rat look is not a good one for me.

Forunately I wear a scrub cap at work, so it’s ok if my hair is a damn mess. It’s just afterward, if I wanted to run to the store or grab lunch, that I’d have a problem. Haha

- Wedding: November 2013 - Stillwell House
Every day is a wet, unbrushed day. I try to arrange my bangs a tad, but otherwise my hair takes 6+ hours to dry naturally and brushing anytime makes for POOF. When I lived in New England, the dry time was nearly double. I sure do no miss the humidity.
