- Wedding: October 2013
My fiance and I have been together nearly 4 years. Our money is tight, and it is important to us that we get married soon. We’ve considered planning a more elaborate affair, but the idea (and the expense) of it is too overwhelming. Because of these things, we have decided to elope. Our families don’t know we plan to elope, but are excited that we are engaged, and support us getting married.
We are getting married on a beach lookout point, just the two of us, along with our officiant (a friend) and our photographer (also a friend). After, we are going to The Beach Boardwalk on the coast (about a mile or two down from the ceremony site) and will be riding some of the rides! Wooden roller coaster, the swings, the people mover! We are having some portraits and candid shots done there. We are renting a room at a bed and breakfast right on the coast. I imagine we will get some food somewhere downtown later, then go back to the b&b. Our room will have a table for two in it, with french doors that open up to a view of the beach. I think we will have some champagne and have our little cake there! The next morning we may go out for breakfast, and to a cute little cafe for lunch. If the weather permits, we will probably take a walk along the path near the beach, on the cliffs. I think it will be great. I am super excited. Just wanted to share with you ladies!
