I'm utterly thrilled about it, though the panic of "omg what do I do now?!" is starting to set in, haha. I've already had umpteen people ask what the date is.

My boyfriend of 2 1/2 years proposed to me at midnight last night. We went to a party at an event center with some friends. He was expecting a big countdown, during which he would get down on one knee and ask me. However, for some reason nobody did the countdown. So he just said his own, then whispered "Will you marry me?" in my ear while slipping the ring on my finger.
I think my response went something like this: "YES!! What?! Yes? Yes!! Are you serious?? Omigod! Will YOU marry ME?? You want to marry me?? For real? Yes yes yes!!!!
It was perfectly perfect and . We met on new year's eve three years ago. My boy did good.
