We are in the process of adoption puppies from a local shelter.  We filled out all the paperwork and did a visit.  They need to be fixed and from there we do a trial.  They were surrendered together so we couldnt bear separating them.  They really love each other.

Well FI picked out a name for one, but I cant figure out another for the girl's name.  I really want some sort of hispanic name.  My family dog is Lily so that's out.  I also thought about Valentina and Paloma, but I'm not convinced.

    Please help!  Here she is:

Frown She looks like my family's old dag, Chip. So I would call that dog Chip, but that's not really a Spanish name.

ETA - My mom's new dog is Daisy, and that's a girl name AND a Spanish name! I also vote for Daisy.

My two family dogs are both chihuahuas with Spanish names!  They're Dulcinea (Dulcie for short) and Elena.

Xochitl (pronounced SO-chee)! I love that name but don't like the spelling for the obvious reasons.

Camila? Valentina is quite a big name for a little dog!

Dont use any of your fave girls names...or if you decide to have children later you can't use the same names. Sounds stupid, but thats why i now cant name a girl (if i have one) lily...and i love that name hahaha

@newname_99:  i actually deduced camila from a bee's suggestion of carmella.  My two grandmothers are my inspiration for futrue baby names i will not be going that route.

I adopted a puppy in July and I named her Daphne.  People comment that they really like her name.  But it is not Hispanic.  Frown

Autumn is the first name that popped into my head, but isn't Hispanic. You go with the Spanish word, Otoño.

    Adelita, Fiesta, or Pilar maybe?
