Yea, I could feel it as of around 12 or 13 weeks, when I had a full bladder.   By 15 weeks I was having BH contractions so I could feel it when it was super hard too.

However, it’s totally normal to NOT feel it until way later.

No I couldn’t and now that I read this, I remember being alarmed that books and stuff said i should be able to feel it and I couldn’t. Everything worked out okay though – never did find the darn thing and ihave a 14 month old.

I could feel my uterus around 12 weeks, but I’ve been a nurse on the OB floor before, so I knew where to press. Lie flat on your back and press firmly into your abdomen, right at/above the top of your pubic hair. You should feel a firm, horizontal ridge which is the top of your uterus. As the weeks progress, you will be able to feel more of it as it rises in the abdomen.

But, if you don’t feel it yet, don’t worry! As long as things are going well at your OB appointments, there really isn’t cause for alarm. If you have more cushion (fat) on your lower abdomen, it is going to be harder to feel the uterus. If you still haven’t felt it by your next appointment, you can ask the OB to show you how to feel it when she checks it.

I could feel mine at about 8 weeks (the doctor felt it and then I did). She said that it’s unusual to feel it that early — so either I’m farther along than the dating ultrasound showed, or my uterus is just big! This is my second pregnancy, and I am also quite thin right now due to bad morning sickness, which makes it easier to feel the uterus.

I have not been able to feel mine as others have described it as a hard bump, but in the past week I’ve started to get more of a soft bump in my lower abdomen, I’m 17 weeks today. I can feel the soft bump when i lay flat on my back and it wasn’t there a couple of weeks ago. I carry some extra weight so could just be fat covering the real uterus bump.

I’m 10 weeks and I could feel it starting in week 8! Now it’s really obvious, especially when I’m laying on my back first thing in the morning.

I’m pretty thin in the abdominal region, for reference.

Hope you can feel it soon! It’s pretty cool!

17 weeks today and I “think” I can feel mine… its super low like not far above my underwear line but it feels firmer in there then everything else. I probably only noticed about a week ago but I never paid attention before.

I never really understood what it meant to feel your uterus, so I’m going to say no but I’m now 28.5 weeks so it’s likely one of the things i feel is my uterus LOL. 🙂
