Hi Hive,

I ordered my girls' dress from Follia in White Plains, NY in December and was told they'd be in in 16-18 weeks. It's July and they aren't in yet. We have had numerous phone conversations with Follia about the dresses and have pretty much gotten this response.."your wedding is in September, I don't send in the orders until I'm ready, I asked the manufacturer to hold the dresses (and my personal favorite," it's not my fault." So lesson learned, if you want your dresses early, lie about your wedding date because apparently all the bridal boutiques do this. A friend used Meme's in Eastchester, and had the same problem.

Did anyone else order early to make sure their girls had time to get their dresses and get altered and run into a roadblock?

OMG! I bought my wedding dress from there in early March and still havent received a call from them either! However, I was lucky enough to get another (even nicer, less expensive) dress, so I am not too worried, however, i did put a $500 deposit down, so I do plan on contacting them closer to my wedding if they have not called, and then possibly taking them to court :)

EVerytime we call, Antoinetta says oh itll be in our next delivery and then delivery day comes and we call and it's it'll be here with the next one. She has been so nasty throughout this whole thing. I have filed ocmplaints with the BBB and with the Westchester County DA's Office.
