I live in a city that is somewhat notorious for wind and unpredictable seasons.
I’d like to be prepared for the worst for our photography session – we have big classic looking umbrellas for wet weather, but if it’s windy also what do we do? Our ceremony and reception venues are not suitable for indoor photos.
Any broad ideas? I really have no idea where to start.
Thank you! 🙂

I may find myself in a similar predicament in April – New England weather is unpredictable at all times but especially in early Spring!
We will be able to do pictures in our church after the ceremony but after that I am looking into local municipal buildings (city hall, board of ed. building) which are beautiful and have some really nice spaces for indoor options. My wedding is in the town next to the capitol of Connecticut (Hartford) and I’ve heard from friends and acquaintances that the City Hall in Hartford is a beautiful space for photos. I think other spaces like theatres or schools/universities nearby would be good options too. Or even a museum or art gallery? You might have to do some research and ask for permission but there might be good options near you! Good luck!
