Well, I’m a happily newlywed woman!!! We tied the knot in a sweet little chapel on our college campus. My husband’s brother sweetly played ‘Canon in D’ on his acoustic guitar (brought tears to my eyes hearing it before they opened the doors). My little brother was the ring bearer–at least we pretended he was 😉 And my two sisters were my maids of honor, they are the closest women to me besides my mom and grandma. Our budget and time was low, but family and friends made our day so special and lovely. I would have changed so many little details, but those things don’t really matter after all.
Thanks for letting me share, enjoy!
P.S. We are highschool sweethearts and are celebrating 5 years together in a few days! 🙂 Woo hoo!

Super-congrats: both on an absolutely beautiful wedding and on almost five years together!! I love your subtle bird details! Your flowers are beautiful too! I love seeing lower-budget weddings (not that you said what your budget was, but you did say you were low on money): we’re having a low-budget wedding and I definitely think it’s completely possible to have a beautiful wedding with less money spent!

Thanks so much, ladies! My dress was a size too small (it was handmade) because I ordered it about a year and a half before the wedding–I was afraid it wouldn’t work but it sure did 🙂 We also didn’t get to do a “first look” because the sun was going down way too fast and we were already running 45 minutes behind schedule, but I love how all the photos came out. Seeing my grooms face was the best thing ever. He said he was glad we didn’t do a “first look” because seeing me as a bride for the first time down the aisle took his breath away….*sigh*
There was also some major family drama that had me in tears several times before I got ready, but my mom and sisters prayed with me in the bathroom and helped me get through it and made me smile and focus on the fact that I am getting married to a wonderful man! 🙂 Sometimes one has to choose to be happy when others don’t want to be cooperative.
Anyway, thanks for the letting me share Bees!

Gorgeous photos! I love your hair, your flowers, the blue dress (I think a BM is wearing it?), your shoes, and the lanterns on your reception tables. Sounds like the day turned out well even though there were a few hairy moments. Congratulations!!
