That looks beautiful! For the reef, I would totally go scuba diving. But when I think of Australia, I think wildlife like kangaroos and koalas. Is there anything where you could possibly feed the koalas? I think Mrs. Joey did that on her honeymoon: http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/11/04/love-in-grey-and-yellow-train-planes-and-koalas/. That would be wicked.

We decided early on that a reef & rainforest trip in Australia would be the perfect honeymoon for us. We did flights a few months ago after receiving an email alert about super cheap Air New Zealnd flights but have had SUCH a tough time nailing down hotels. Everytime I'd get my heart set on something I'd read a string of bad reviews on Trip Advisor (my travel bible) and my heart would be broken.
After working up several itineraries with every option under the sun we finally came to a concensus - AND somehow managed to find crazy good deals on both hotels!
We're doing the first half at Thala Beach Lodge and the second half at Silky Oaks Lodge. Both are treehouse-type accomodationgs set in the rainforest for absolute seclusion & privacy and yet still accessible to the GBR. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!
Now to tackle activities...anyone have any suggestions??
