@Itssome3:  I don’t understand the point of this thread or why you want to put that information out there when you don’t like the site but, good luck with your dress and wedding. It would suck for the dress to be wrong and I encourage you to get back at the company if it doesn’t meet it’s supposed standard.

Nobody should spend money on something and end up hating it because it was done incorrectly. Bees have posted some informative things about the compnay and hopefully your dress comes out better than what has been reviewed. You said that you already ordered so I wish you all the luck in the world. If it isn’t right then it is a big deal. Money is money and everyone here had to pay for a wedding somehow.

This site has a wonderful sense of community and I think some threads go wrong based on wording. It is possible that you truly are a honest person and if that is true then I encourage you to see what a great site this is, best of luck.

@Itssome3:  “and will be wearing a dress I LOVE from Fab U. And if the dress is terrible, I’ll get another one… It’s not a big deal!!!”

How do you love it if you haven’t received it yet?

Most women are way less blase about their wedding gown.  To most it would be a big deal if the dress they ordered wasn’t sewn/designed/fit/delivered as promised.

@Itssome3:  Your wording seemed to cause issues and @DomesticDiva:  pointed out something within THIS thread that would be alarming. It is the internet, anonymous people aren’t nice!

@Itssome3:  Since your New to WB you might not know there’s a search bar on the right hand side of your screen if you type in something like : “fabulous U” it will pull up tons of threads which will give you what your looking for, hopefully that helps.

@Itssome3:  I’ve found most successful threads begin with giving us your inspiration photos and giving us some details about your dress and plans. Given all of the negativity surrounding FabU, most are hesitant. Like @Payless:  said, wording is everything, especially if it sounds like you work for the comapny. So show us what you’ve ordered already 🙂

@Itssome3:  I am sorry you have had a negative experience here so far. As you said you asked for the good, the bad and the ugly related to FabU, so people shared their experiences. They were probably suspicious that you may have been working for the company because your post was positive about the company, which has been rare to see! Fabulous U generally gets a mainly bad rep around here, so when there is a positive story it arouses suspicion. Please share the dress you ordered and fingers crossed it turns out as beautiful as you imagined 🙂 Your wedding plans sound lovely!

Considering that there have been some horrible FabU posts very recently, for this to pop up (and you only posting about FabU)…  It is a tad suspicious.

Take this as some friendly advice- if you want to not be seen as a potential vendor (or someone here only to promote FabU), post on some other threads- NOT just about FabU or dresses.  Work your way around the Bee, actually get to know us.

Constant posting about FabU dresses is a lot like wearing Hollister clothing all the time- rather boring and a bit too advertisement-y.

I think the dress (in the pic) looks great and I really hope it’s everything you want.  You obviously realize there’s a risk the dress won’t be everything you wanted and that’s good… and you’ve gotten opinions on your other thread.

But this is the internet, and this is one of the most friendly forums I’ve ever been on in my over 20 years of internet fun (started out with BBS back in 2400 baud modem days).

I hate to say it but your posts really read more like ads than a genuine poster (I’m not saying you aren’t genuine, just how they appear).  I think if you really have a look around and really see the forums you’ll see how supportive this international community is.  You’ve had a very narrow experience trying to promote a company who many people have had a bad time with… you asked, they responded.  Some were skeptical and I get that it upset you, but you can’t really blame them for their experience.

Sadly, posting parts of communication with FabU isn’t really helping… why bother?  We get it, you ordered, you hope for something great you love… but why all the hoopla?  I’m not asking YOU this, it’s more something to ask yourself.

Whatever happens, whatever dress you wear, I hope you have a great and wonderful elopement.
