Hi principessa! Did you choose that name because of Life is Beautiful? I have dreamed of going to this one resort in Mexico since I was 15. (I'm 49 now.) I think we may go there next year or the year after, it's definitely a trip to save up for. Hopefully we will get married this summer. We will probably spend our honeymoon on the southern Oregon coast and in the California Redwoods.
No i didn't, lol. My dad always called me his principessa and my fiance calls me princess or bunny, lol silly I know...ah- love!
Mexico sounds nice! Especially if it's somewhere you've always wanted to go. Anything along the coast seems like a great idea! I have to admit, Ive never heard of the California Redwoods and just looked it up online- WOW! Now that looks beautiful. Great choices!
We're planning to go to Bora Bora and Moorea, but we haven't booked it yet (we married in October, but are waiting to complete the immigration process for my husband before booking any long trips). I've always wanted to go, and we've been saving up ever since we got engaged, in a separate honeymoon fund account.
If Fiji is your first choice, I say go with that one! What's a few extra hours on the plane? :)
The separate honeymoon fund account is great! We recently started saving! Great choices!
Thanks for the vote ;)
We are planning to go whistler canada, but got the price back the other day from the travel agent, its about 2k out of our budget. Our next choices were lake tahoe canada and then the other choice is a cruise around new zealand.
Im dissapointed about canada, I always wanted to go! but I think I will still go, just not for our honeymoon.
I'm from Canada and have always wanted to go to Australia...funny how that works isnt it?
I hope you get a chance to visit one day, there are some beautiful places. I havent been, but a very nice place to visit from what I hear (my fiance has family there)and have seen in pictures is Jasper. It looks and sounds breathtaking!
A cruise around New Zealand sounds beautiful! Lucky you :)

Honeymoons?
Where are you going? Where do you want to go? Or where did you settle on going?
We want to travel somewhere we likely won't get the chance to travel to again, at least not anytime soon. We plan on starting a family early on in our marriage...so we want to go somewhere we most likely wouldnt be able to go wiith children or perhaps not have the same experience. Somewhere different, somewhere tropical...We've come up with Fiji, Bora bora, Chile, Brazil, maybe a cruise...to name a few...With Fiji being our first choice we're reluctant thinking it may be too far. But when will we ever be able to travel there again right?
Hope you all have great honeymoons wherever you end up, even if it's at home!
