I’m most excited that we FINALLY found a venue in our price range! It’s going to take a little more DIY of the decorations on our part, but it is significantly cheaper for the rental and set-up of tables/chairs than any other place we looked at and we like it more 🙂

I’m excited to be looking for places once FI finds a job.  We’ve been LD for 5 years and I’m ready to close the gap!

In the DIY world, I’m finishing up my engagement photoshoot editing so I can finally start working on the guestbook design 🙂

We just picked out the suits and my last BM just bought her dress so I’m fixed on the ceremony right now. I CANNOT wait to see FI in his suit at the end of that isle!

I’m excited about my diy projects. We are making sea salt scrubs using essential oils. We are diy’ing  cornhole, ring ross, tic tac toe, the decorations which we’ve almost completed.  Everything’s starting to come together.

I still have a longgg time before mine (June 2018), so I am not too far into the planning process as of yet, but my mom just chose a date for our engagement party and she chose a nautical theme for it! Excited because it is super different from our wedding theme, but I always thought the nautical/beach weddings were so pretty! I have been pinning away!

ohana :  Thank you! I agree it was the perfect mix of different but still felt bridal. It’s actually a prom dress, I can’t imagine wearing that to a prom. I had tried on other prom and colored dresses but none of them captured the bridal feel too. It’s actually funny, this is a slight hi to low so my toes just peak out when walking and it has a slight train, but when you look on the website it’s about shin length and not touching the floor at all on their models, so being short is what help make it work for me as a wedding dress. Lol

Just about to order our save the dates!  Every little thing that comes up since we found our venue has been exciting – before I was a lot more stressed!

The honeymoon? 😅 LOL.

currently my excitement is about my DIY floral wall. Just picked up a bunch of fake flowers from the dollar tree, stripped the flowers off the stems and organized them by colour. Have to go back and grab more from another dollar tree cause they ran out of stock haha! Going to glue them onto a 4×8 polystyrene sheet and put some sheer curtains on the side. We also have letters “J & B” that we are going to spray paint gold and put in the middle. The flowers are currently all sorted by colour, and here is FI posing “seductively” with them hahaha
