I was 18 and graduated my first college at 20 and then my second college at age of 23.  The first school was only a 2 year private college I got my AA there and the second was a state school I got my BS in Family Life and Child Development.

I was a psych major, started at 17, graduated with my BA at 21. If you’re worried about being older – don’t! There are students at tons of ages. Good luck!

I started my B.A. in Literature at 18 and finished at 21.  I took a semester off and then started my M.A. in Literature at 22.  It took me three years to finish as opposed to the normal two years because I was teaching full time and the night classes were so intense.  Congrats on making the decision to go!  😀

18-24!

Went to three colleges in 7 years, and took a year or two off somewhere in there 😉

Did everything from pre-vet to teaching. Ended up with a BA in Communication studies and minor in Psych !

I started undergrad at 18 finished at 23.  I waited until my senior to spend a semester abroad and by that point it didn’t count toward my degree.  That put me at 4 1/2 years instead of 4.  It was worth it in every single way though!

I started at 16, and I’ll graduate at 20. It took me a while to decide what I wanted to do (after I found my original plan to be less fulfilling than I expected), so I took a year and a half off to decide. I’m 5 months away from graduating with a BA in Special Ed K-12/Elementary Ed.

ETA: @CherryBombGirl: I’m glad you’re not concerned about your age. I wanted to add that there were far more “older” students than younger students like me. I felt out of place for years, and still do sometimes. I’m the “right” age to be in college now, but people always look at me strange when I tell them I’m a senior about to start my last semester. You’ll be far from alone. 🙂

Also, I know what you mean about wishing you hadn’t waited because you could have been done already. I wish I hadn’t taken that time off all the time, but I know it was the right thing for me. There is no way I would have picked teaching at that point, and I now know it was the right path for me. I could be done by now, but I wouldn’t have finished the right thing. I have to remind myself all the time that everything happens for a reason.

I started college right after I graduated high school at 18. My first year of high school I spent abroad and I got full college credits for the year. I also had college credits from high school but my college accepted those for electives and not for exempting me from classes (except for politicial science, or some class like that – they took my AP government from high school as an exemption for that). I took 18 credits a semester – except at the end where I had less credits left – and one summer I took..was it two or three classes? One was for my major and the head of the department didn’t want a full semester of this class so he scheduled it for one week in the summer and that whole week we all went in for 7 hours a day and finished the course. The other was an online class.

Anyway, my major was General and Special Elem. Ed. K-6 and I finished a four-year degree in 3 1/2 years. I graduated this past January 2012. I was 18 when I started and 21 when I finished.

I started when I was 21. I prefer it this way, sure, I’m behind my friends, but I’m also more focused and getting better grades, therefore making more out of my college experience.
