I’m signed up for Groupon, and there was a spa that was offering discounted massage packages. The most expensive package cost $130 and you get a one-hour Swedish massage for two, plus a one hour couples guided massage lesson.

I am really looking forward to it. I can’t wait to see what he thinks of it 🙂

My FI just lost his job, so I’m getting him his passport =)  I know it’s not the most romantic, but we really need our passports and he won’t get his b/c of the money situation.

FI is making me some sort of secret supper while I am at work. I am thinking about getting him a nice sweater or something and a card. Then we are going to be staying in and watching a movie or two. V-Day here to eat out or go to the movies is a gong-show and I feel that it should be a chill holiday. Don’t need added stress.

I think we are going to go to a play, but we aren’t planning on doing much for gifts this year since we are trying to save up for the wedding.  But I couldn’t resist getting him these….and he really did need a new pair of undies….justified, lol.

No idea yet. I am not big on V-day, but I think I might send him a home made card/letter in the mail :). LDR’s suck! :/

We make dinner at home and eat it in front of the fireplace.  No TV and no phones.  I make his favorite meal and mine.  He gets lobster and shrimp, I get crab legs and a petite filet.  We have played board games, played cards, and just talked in the past.

@mstre269: It’s really great. I heard about it on here b/c there was one in NY for a photobooth rental.

The discounts you get vary based on where you live. Different businesses = Different offers.

However, I’ve seen discounted spa treatements, laser hair removal, wrapped canvas prints, all kinds of restaurants…. It changes daily, so you can get a lot of great deals that way 🙂

We’re going to the spa for massages on the 13th, then I’m taking him to dinner at our favorite local restaurant.  He ordered me an iPhone from Verizon this morning (yay!) so that’s my V-day gift from him.  I might try to find something cute at Victoria’s Secret too 😉

We got Groupons on wine tasting at a local Malibu winery and then a dinner for two at a restaurant that does dining in the dark.  I’m excited but kind of scared about the dining in the dark.  Anyone ever been?

@mstre269: I love Groupon.  LivingSocial and TryItLocal are also good ones.
