What are some things about the Bee that make you irrationally annoyed?

It annoys me that every comment needs to consist of fluffy puppies and rainbows. I’m not saying we should be able to flat out bash someone for the fun of it, but sometimes tough love is needed (and won’t be given to the person by their friends/family IRL). But no, can’t do that or you’ll get flagged and called snarky.

@IzzyBear:  I agree!!

Sometimes I feel like poeple are trying to find snark in every post just to have something to complain about or flag.

I have to re-word every post I make to make sure that it can in NO way be misconstrued as even remotely close to something that could resemble snark.  Even if it’s just my opinion. :/

someone judging and opinionating your post like they are personally in your life every single day, based on your opinion of someones post or topic on a subject.

@mrspinesol:  The thin skinned brides who freak out if they even think they might be receiving some criticism even if they’ve asked for opinions.

The brides who brag about being rude.

The brides who are proud of or defend begging for money.

The brides who ask if their rings are “big enough.” Big enough for what?

The brides who complain that their proposal wasn’t extravagant enough.

It has gotten to the point where I will exit a thread when I come across posts like this because it makes me ragey.

It bugs me when people judge the OP when that’s not the point of the post. If the IP asks “Am I being selfish?” then fine, tell her she’s selfish. But if she says she’s disappointed or wants help, often she still gets all sorts of flack.

Giant posts with no paragraphing are difficult to read, also. 🙂

When someone posts about one of the controversial topics like kid-free weddings or not giving +1s to everyone and has VALID reasons that make total sense, and then people go “Well I would NEVER do that and it is SO rude and you are wrong”

I saw a post about how a couple wasn’t inviting kids to the wedding because of budget reasons mostly, because there would be like 70 kids extra. One response was like “Weddings are a family event, and children are part of of the family so they should be there. That’s how I was raised.”

Like…wow. You are insulting how the OP was raised and also telling her it’s crucial that she spends the money for an extra 70 guests!! Have some common sense and realize that she clearly doesn’t have the budget for that!!

Drives me nuts.
