Brownie. C’mon now, they couldn’t do better than that?

I like the name my parents picked out for their dog.  Her name is Pixel because she has a black spot on her face that kind of looks like a dead pixel.  And most times when we tell people her name, they’ll say “Oh is that because of the spot?”  Here’s a pic (you can see the spot by her nose)

For some reason, the name Buddy annoys me.  Maybe it’s because I’ve known several pets with this name over the years, and they’ve all been very weird pets.  I really can’t explain my logic with that one.

I love animals that are named after other animals. Example, a friend’s dog named Moose, a cat named Elephant, etc. Always puts a smile on my face. I also love literary names. One of my best friends named his grey cat Dorian… love it.

A friend’s cat is named Cattie, and that’s the worst I’ve seen. I’d take Fluffy over Cattie.

@iarebridezilla:  wow ACSII is lame.

I hate when people name their dogs people names.  some are okay but other normal people names get weird. Like, dont name your dog “stacy”

@iarebridezilla:  No, my auncle, who I guess was in his 40’s or 50’s at the time, named that annoying yippy thing. He was little but mean.

Horatio is an awesome name for a cat!

@LadyBlackheart:  Oh ya, I know a Bella LOL. But that’s because her “Mother” and “Grandmother” are Twilight fanatics. That’s just a whole other topic LOL.

@iarebridezilla:  I’ve always wanted to get a girl and boy dog and name them Geniveve Elizabeth and Carlton Fonsworth the third. But my parents wouldn’t let me!

I read a book before where a cat was named seagull. I loved it! I might name my future cat that.
