For me – great vendors should have the following:
-Answer emails with my questions in a timely matter
-Reach out to follow up if I forget something, or they want to check-in
-Quality of their past work
-Passionate about their work
-Personality & Energy – gets you excited about YOUR wedding 🙂
Am I missing anything? How do you bees know when you got a great vendor? Other than reviews from other brides?
I’ve been working with both of my coordinator and florist and I think they’ve been great! I’m excited whenever I see an email from them (HAHA!), and look forward to our meetings and can’t wait to see what they will put together on the wedding day! I also look forward to meeting with my coordinator and having her help on the day as well.
I just think since the wedding planning process is mostly a year long, you should be hiring a vendor that you want to work with for the entire year, right? 🙂
