Oh gosh you've stumped me. I know what they are... I usually find them in the twig/branch sections of the silks in the craft store
I do...but I can't think of them right now! Arg! It's a plant/flower. My MIL grows them and loves them. They grow as a huge seed, and you have to crack open the seed pod to get the white thingie out of it. I'll think really hard!
LOL you guys are funny. I know my mom used to have them around the house. I may just GO to a craft store and find them since I can't search online....I'm sort of addicted to shopping online. :)
Can't tell for sure but they look like silver dollar branches. Save-on-crafts does have them: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/moneytree.html
HAHAH! I saw these and I just KNOW I should know what they are. My mom has them in her garden and all over the house. So yes, I totally just called her & asked.
I thought they were chinese lanterns, but that's this:

They're called LUNARIA.

I love the look of these white thing-y's in a vase, but I couldn't find them on SaveonCrafts since I don't know what they are called. Any ideas of what these things are called?
