Mmm wings sound amazing.
We're having a Steelers superbowl party, and I'll probably be making my pepperoni dip and spinach dip. My friends love making stuff, so I'll be curious to see what they whip up!
@Blueshoes2: Never heard of pepperoni dip, I'm intrigued!
I don't watch sports, but if I did I would make various munchy foods. I make awesome deviled eggs, crab rangoons, and spinach dip
@Blueshoes2: That sounds good! For my bachelorette party my friend made boudian dip. http://www.realcajunrecipes.com/recipes/cajun/boudoin-boudain/1060.rcr Yummy!
@MrsSl82be: Easiest, most delicious dip ever. 2 cans Campbell's cream of celery soup (sounds weird but trust me), 2 bags of sliced pepperoni, 2 bricks of cream cheese. Combine in crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours. Stir occasionally :)
@blueshoes - Yummy!! I want some now!! What do you usually serve the dip with?
Wow, so simple and does sound yummy, I will definitely have to try that. I love cooking in the crock pot! I actually need to get a couple smaller ones, cuz right now I have a big one which is great for dinners but not so much for smaller amounts like dips
@melisslp: Either a bread with a hearty crust, tortilla chips or crackers. Basically anything!
@trugem: That boudain dip sounds yummy :)
everyone's making me hungry!! I'm doing pepperoni bread which is basically just pizza dough stuffed with cheese and pepperoni, rolled up, baked, and sliced! soo good.
@trugem: that does sound good! i also love Tastefully simple dips as well. Yum, I think I may have to have a dip party soon :)
@blueshoes - Thank you SO, SO much!!! This dip sounds like a "winner"!
As avid Chicago Bears fans, we're going to pretend the superbowl doesn't exist this year.. its just too painful
@MrsSl82be: We bought one of those "Little Dipper" crockpots for like $10-$15 at Walmart. Definitely nice to have, and it fits that dip perfectly.
@MrsSl82be: I love the idea of a dip party!
@kingytobe: lol I am just hoping for a good game and good food. I don't care who wins. lol
Absolutely nothing. I despise football, baseball and basketball. BORING! I can stand to watch hockey, but I really don't care who wins. IF DH watches the Superbowl, he is quite capable of getting his own snacks!
@bluespurrs: lol Okay. I like being at football games more than I like watching them on tv.
Anyone else? What are ya'll cooking?
I have a special request for my Buffalo Chicken Dip-which is ridiculously easy to make and can be served hot or cold. All it is, is a couple of cooked chicken breast diced up (or 1 1/2 cups of leftover chicken, chopped up) 2-8 oz blocks of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of Franks Hot Sauce. Mix it up and serve with celery, or crackers or tortilla chips.
im trained in french cuisine, so i pretty much SUCk at making "boy" food. this year, im doing a nacho bar (cheese sauce made from scratch, onions, olives, refried beans from scratch, home made chips, two more types of cheese, etc) chili in both white and red, and corn dogs from scratch (per request of the boys)
@ClairDarling: You sound like me... can I come? MYFH said I ruined him because he can no longer eat his mom's food :)

I'm making wings (something sweet for my hubby and hot for me). I plan to make the sauces and salsa from scratch. I love experimenting with food. :) What are ya'll cooking?
