For place cards we are having each guest's name printed on the top of the menu (where a lot of menus say "menu"). It will eliminate extra clutter on the table and kill two birds with one stone.
Here are pics of my wedding. If you scroll down you will see the red placecards I made. Lots of punching though!

We are creating escort cards that look almost exactly like the wedding invitation envelopes. They will be chocolate brown with chartreuse green ovals (these are actually address labels from PaperSource!) on them. The green oval will have each guest's name and table number printed on it.
With Excel, we are just going to export all the names to a Word document and then add the table number. I hope it's as easy as it sounds, cause it's Sunday's project!
