My dad's coming up 4th of July weekend and I'm gifting him a pedicure
Don't laugh--he loves them =]
My dad was here this past Monday, so we celebrated then with a dinner at El Torro and then came back to our house for cake and icecream and a I also got him a card. I got the cake from Baskin Robbins. It was delicious.
I am far away from my dad :( My mom is coming to visit tomorrow, so I will give her a card with a home depot gift card in it to deliver to him. Pretty boring.
We already celebrated father’s day because he and my mom will be out of town on Sunday (good for them!)
We went to brunch (he loves bloody mary’s! LOL) and then (FH’s idea!) we got him a picnic basket filled with farmer’s market foods, because he loves to cook. We got him 2 bottles of wine, eggs, sausage, salad mix, sunflower shoots, strawberries, awesome goat cheese and radishes.
Remembering him and wishing he could walk me down the aisle in October. 
@alligatress- Sorry your dad isnt with you! Do you plan to have something of his with you down the aisle?
Thanks, Vistagirl. I've been über emotional this week with all of the Father's Day emails and commercials all around.
I am going to get a memorial frame with his pic in it to tie around my bouquet. I am sure I'll be a basket case, since I'm choked up just writing this post.

Is anyone doing anything special? My dad will probably have to work but I'm getting him this print from our wedding and we will at least try to squeeze in a dinner!
