We aren’t doing anything Embarassed

With buying a house and the wedding money is very tight and I don’t even care for Vday. We both have gift certificates to get a massage that we got for Christmas so we might turn them in for a couples massage.

Basically nothing! I think he might even be going in to work. I do plan on making him a yummy breakfast though. Maybe pancakes… I haven’t decided yet 🙂 We’re not big V-day people though!

We aren’t doing anything.  In fact he’ll be skiing for a week with the guys in Colorado so I won’t even get to see him from the 12th-19th.  Maybe I’ll sneak a card into his suitcase tonight.

Um, a card and a chocolate bar =]

I might make some cupcakes or something tho….I currently will be baking a cake that day for a friend and the recipe calls for 3 layers. I only want 2 layers so i’ll have leftover batter

We don’t really celebrate V-Day.  We are going away to see his grandma for the long weekend.

We’re trying to save $$, so we’re going to stay in on V-day and cook together. I’m actually really looking forward to it and think it’ll be more romantic/fun than going out.

I’m also thinking about getting us salsa lessons for Valentine’s day. I prefer gifts that we both can enjoy that involve an experience we can have together, and we have been playing around with the idea of dancing to salsa for our first dance.

I bought “I Like You” and interspersed pictures of us between the pages.  One of the bees posted about using it for vows, and after reading it, I knew I had to bring this book into our relationship.  It’s so perfect.

I also got him a jetboil stove that he (we) wanted for a while, and lastly, thanks to the darn Super Bowl advertising, I picked up some Dove Men’s Body Wash.

We are also trying to save money, so we’re going to cook dinner together at home for V-day. But something extra special, of course! (twice baked potatoes, filet mignon, brocolli and homemade bread!) My guy isn’t really a mushy person, either… So I got him a cool picture frame with a pic of us in it, some heart boxers (his favorite brand), and I’m making little mini cupcakes that look like chocolates! Simple and inexpensive ;]

We are moving right after March 1 to a house 🙂

We have to buy a washer/dryer and a fridge… so that is our vday gifts to eachother.

We will have a romantic dinner at one of our fav restaurants, Hush in Laguna Beach. (tomorrow though… going out to dinner on vday is always a disaster in our area).

He’s working. So nothing. I might write him love notes to find throughout the day but I do that on a fairly regular basis anyways so it’s not something out of the ordinary for me.

I like… never do anything for V-day! I surprise him pretty often with dinner, dessert, etc.

I just make him really, really ornate valentines and buy candy. He usually gets me candy, makes me a valentine and takes me out to dinner… and makes lunch.

(To be fair… i cook more than 75% of the time so it’s kind of nice that he makes the effort!)

I’m not a huge Valentine’s Day person either and was just going to get a card (basically due to a lack of ideas). I then decided to DIY him one of those edible arrangements. He LOVES fruit and who can’t use some food? I don’t think it’s going to be too hard to do. Hopefully it turns out ok and looks edible and not like someone just butchered some melons!
