we did they and they were 4 bucks a piece. Then we took them to the reception site and put them on door knobs and hung them along the bar.
Ours is an outdoor wedding so we are doing paper flower pomander on shepards hooks. Do you have a picture of your pews maybe we can all help find some inspiration pictures and ideas.
I decided to skip pew decorations. I'm getting married in an old, historic church with stained glass windows. I didn't think the church needed a lot of decoration, since it's already so beautiful.

I originally wanted to do something like this, but the contract for the church says no candles....
So now I'm thinking more along the lines of something like this:

@ktcritch: Oh I so wanted to do the candles but being sea side I was worried about the wind.
@BluegrassBridetoBee: Do you have a theme or colours or just a feel we should know about?
@naturalysam: Our colors are ivory, platinum gray, and light pink. Our reception is at an old train station so we kind of have an antique/classic feel but don't have too much planned for the church
The candles are personally my favorite and it makes me think of old trains.

I haven't given much through to how to decorate the church. We are doing two larger floral arrangements upin the front but I don't think I'm having our florist do the pews. I think it would just be a lot of $$$ for 30 minutes and we couldn't easily move them to the reception like the others.
